China orgy organisers will not be arrested, says Japan
http://straitstimes.asia1.com.sg/asia/story/0,4386,226124,00.html?

Japan said she will not arrest the three Japanese for allegedly
organising an orgy involving hundreds of Japanese tourists.

Japan's excuse : "Japan has extradition agreements only with the
United States and South Korea."

However , Japan demanded the hand over of three Chinese students were
alleged to have murdered a Japanese family of four in Fukuoka, last
June.

If Japan has no extradition agreement with China , then why did she
forced China to hand over the three Chinese students ?

Another example would be Alberto Fujimori. Japan refuses to hand him
over to Peru while Japan demanded Colombia to hand over a Colombian
who killed a Japanese in Colombia.

Double Standard ?

I agree that Japan is a master of double-standards.

However, handing over anyone to the Chinese justice and what masqarades as a
justice sysytem - one that makes the utterly deplorable Japanese Justcice
system look quite sharp, is maybe not unreasonable.

Of course, I am well aware that this is not the motivation for the Japanese.

Jap may have to remember this the next time round when they are denied for
the request of any "criminal" thru Interpol from China.

Hate to say this, but your example shows such double standard exists
in China as well. How can China demand cooperation to extradite from
non-treatied country when she had not given such cooperation under
interpol rules?

Let's just be realistic and not bitch about it, okay. May it be
interpol cooperation, war crime education, subjugation of
Tibetan/Native American.

What are you talking about? China isn't being forced to extradite, China
wants to work with Japan to deal with criminals. The Chinese on the lam in
China who probably murdered the Japanese family of four (hired by a Japanese
to do the job) are going to get turned over to Japan if they are found on
the Mainland. One of the mothers interviewed by Fujisankei said that if her
son is guilty, he deserves to die. Chinese cooperation was a non-issue in
Japanese media prior to the anniversary orgy incident. It's stupid to tie
the Chinese criminals to this new matter.
