Abu Salem gang suspected behind actor's killing

MUMBAI: The city police suspect the involvement of the Abu Salem gang
behind the murder of actor Dinesh Anand (44) at the Sanjay Gandhi
National Park at Borivli on Wednesday afternoon.
Anand was close to producer Mukesh Duggal, who was shot four years ago
at Andheri by underworld hitmen. The police suspect that Anand was
gunned down for switching loyalties. However, the actor had no police
cases against him.
Anand was found dead in his Honda City car, with bullet wounds on the
head and back. The body was discovered by a passer-by.
Assistant commissioner (crime) Ambadas Pote said: ``Anand was a
resident of Manish Nagar in the Four Bungalows area of Andheri (West).
Preliminary inquiries with family members reveal that he had not
received any threats for extortion.''
A police officer said: ``Some men inside the park had seen two men
accompanying Anand in the car. The trio was also spotted when they
purchased the park tickets at the main gate. However, there were no
witnesses to the murder.''
About 4 or five weeks ago India Today had published
a list of a dozen Bollywood entities who have the
mafia sword hanging over their head. Only one
of them was a Muslim. Even Shiv Sena colludes with
the bad guys.
I am so happy that Muslims are organizing themselves and paying these hindus
back, more power to them.
