Statement of the Victim Naheed Butt at press conference called at the MQM head office
Friday morning (incident occurred midnight Thursday):
"My name is Naheed Butt Bint Abdul Rehman Butt. I was in my home R-1226/15C
BufferZone, N. Karachi, with my mother and younger brother. Ten to twelve
men in Army uniform and four or five in police, with few men without uniform
accompanied by two lady searchers entered our home. One of the lady searcher
name was Farzana. Their were many official outside our home. The men who
entered our house, one of them was being called Maj. Khan and was most active.
They searched our home and asked us where are the weapons. My mother told them
that you have checked everywhere in the house. We don't have any type of
weapon in this house. They asked me about my father, Taqi and other brother
Imran. I told them that Taqi don't live here and never lived here, we don't
even know his telephone number. The officials said that if we are not going to
cooperate they are going to treat us very bad. Lady searcher Farzana said
that they can do anything. They were constantly threatning us. Afterwards
they took me to the Light brown High Roof and threatened me that they are going
to run me over with their vehicle, and people will find my deadbody in the
morning. Since I did'nt know about the weapons or phone number, I said I dont
know anything. After one hour they took me back home and said that you are
a slut and we know that you had passed through three abortions. Lady searcher
said that I am going to examine you. She took me to the bathroom. I asked her
to please close the door. I was crying but she forced fully took off my clothes
at that instant Maj. also entered into the bathroom. Door was open and all
the soldiers and policemen were watching. Maj. and Farzana were constantly
making fun of me and using dirty and obscene language about me, while I was
crying lying on the ground. After half hour they let me get myself out of
the bathroom. Those people stayed at our home for entire night. Asked us to
make tea for them. They took our undergarments and made dirty jokes and
vulgar remarks about us.
These Army and police members stayed since 1:30am till 7:00 am morning (mar. 24-
25). When they left they took our phone set with them. After about an Hour
4-5 policemen came back and hooked up the phone back so they can monitor the
the calls. After this just two policemen stayed who left us around 3:00pm
On 25 Mar, 3:00 pm these two policemen left us with the threats that we will
come back at night. Among policemen were New Karachi police station S.H.O.
was also present.
My sister who dont live with us called Dr. Farooq Sattar and described the
situation. Afterwards she talked to Nasreen Baji and we myself, my mother
younger brother brought to MQM headoffice for the protection. "
This are the exact words in which the victim described her story at the press conference.
The current wave of terror in Karachi that started last week, with this incident the
situation could get very bad.

The 21 month Operation Cleanup against urban based party MQM is passing through
its worst days. As was speculated before behind the operation officials have
been trying all types of illegal tactics to crush MQM. But worst case of this happened
on the midnight thursday when police and army officials severely insulted a Mohajir lady.
In the emergency press conference called at the MQM Markaz 90, Naheed Butt
told the details of the brutal and animalistic action of law enforcement
agencies. Dukhtar-e-Mashriq Naheed Butt is the sister of MQM's activist Taqi
Butt. On the midnight of thursday around 1:30 pm several officials who were
uniformed in army and police dress raided Taqi's home in the Bufferzone locality of
Karachi. They forcefully entered the house and threatened the family of
Taqi Butt about whereabouts of Taqi and his brother Imran. Taqi has been in the hiding
since the early days of the operation.
In the press conference Naheed, who was deeply in pain and was constantly crying
told that she overheard one official being called as Bahadur Ali. Bahdur Ali is
the Head of one police station in Karachi. On this occasion MQM leaders told that
they have already informed the High Officials about this incident. But were told to
stay quiet, and not to mention this to press. Also they were threatened that if they
made this public then results will be devastating.
MQM leaders asked Pakistani government that they are raising voice against
Kashmir and Bosnia but in their own country with Mohajir Women their treatment is
worst in Pakistani History. They appealed National and International Human Rights
Organizations to raise their voice against this and all injustices with
MQM.
MQM officials have further reacted on this incident and said that government is
converting Karachi into "Maqbooza Karachi" and trying to create the same
situation here as was in the Bangladesh in 1971. Dr. Farooq Sattar, leader of the
opposition in the Sind Assembly said that MQM will seek a peaceful and legal struggle
against this incident.

indulged in this practice in Islamic Bangladesh to their heart's (or something
else's) content) are now practising this art on their own people. Or are they

they are muslims who came from India. I hope that the islamic scum in India
realises the situation in ther beloved Pakistan.
Since Islam allows raping of Muslim women, I presume that the readers of this

When are the muslims going to realise that they are their own worst enemies? If
one were to make a list of muslims killed and raped by fellow muslims, one
would find that number by far exceeds the muslims despatched to Allah's garden
by non-muslims. Did you guys read the news about one of the imams (a custodian
of ISLAM) who punished his wife by inserting a hot rod in her private parts? I
presume that Islam allows this. I read in the KORAN and the HADIS that a muslim
man can punish his wife in any way he sees fit.
Instead of worring about Kashmir, why don't you guys focus on the problems of
your islamic land?
One hopes that RAW takes full advantage of the situation to destroy PAKISTAN
and liberate the muslims from ISLAM.

were (note the past tense) marriages between two similiar aged chbildren. They
certainly were not the Islamic pedophilia where a 57 year old dirty dog (aka

Please read a recent issue of NEWS-INDIA TIMES (I do not off hand remenber that

muslim girl. The Hindu teacher of the 14 yaer old child saw her in bridal dress
and upon making proper inquires, she realised that there was as other Ameena in
the making. She promptly caused the neccessary action to be taken to prevent
this unholy pedophilic union. The 82 year old muslim dog was pissed. Boy, was
he pised! He went away ranting and raving that he lost Rs 20, 000 that he had
paid to the brides girl to buy her. He and his mullah friends pointed out that
Islam allows these types of marriages.
Clearly, Islam sanctions selling of its muslim girls as prostitutes -- albeit a
long term one, i.e. until she get the triple talaq and, after waiting the
officially sanctioned 4.5 months, the cycle is repeated.

Child marriage are ILLEGAL in India. If anyone is caught, they are locked up in

I'm afraid it is the influence of hinduism on the Indian Muslims.
Paying money to buy girls is only allowed in Hinduism under the banner
Dowry. The dowry system does not exist within the Islam, hence the
mullah which u referring to was using hinduism to fulfill his
fantasy of marrying young girl. I guess there must be so many Hindus
doing these sorts of things that they are corrupting the muslims in
india too. Like i said the past is very bad. we have a very bad patch left

It's not diced... It's well grommed. This is one of the reason why the
