"ABOUT HRH PRINCE CHARLES"

This is the unedited transcript of an association given by
Sheik Mohammed Nazim al Haqqani, Grandsheik of the Most
Distinguished Naqshbandi Order of Sufis, in Cyprus Jan. 24, '94.

In the Name of God, Almighty, All Merciful,
Ya Rabbi Ya Allah, we are asking your support for speaking Haqq!!

Today TV stations are coming for recording an interview with me and they
are interested to hear about the Crown Prince of England, Prince Charles,
the Crown Prince of Great Britain, especially Turkish people from every level
of society. They are really interested in Prince Charles' Islam, wonder-
ing if he really embraced Islam or not, and if he is accepting tariqat from
me and is going to be my follower. Every TV station is always coming and
asking about that, because common people are surprised and wonder how it
can be--that a crown prince, who is going to be the King of England in the
future, embraced Islam? And top-level people in Turkey, are also shocked by
this news, shocked that it can actually be true.

Therefore they were trying to say this news is something inaccurate about
the Prince, and based on their imagination they are trying to say, "he is not
sincere about his Islam. Maybe he is going to cheat you, or maybe he is
wishing some benefit from the Arabs, or maybe he wants to get the support of
Arab countries when he becomes king." In this way, they are speaking
nonsense about Prince Charles' Islam.

And I was saying to them that everything they imagine is only that, it is
from them, it is not real. Whoever is always cheating people thinks
that the Prince is also going to cheat people--no, never. He is now a
real sincere Muslim praising Islam. If I am going to praise Christianity,
what will you understand about me? It is so very clear.

And what about Prince Charles' coming to Turkey and going to mosques,
visiting the tomb of Abu Ayyub al-Ansari, Hazretleri, (r) and studying the
Muslim community, looking at the Ottoman's Islamic Civilisation, praising
it and saying it is so good, so perfect? Still they are saying about him
that he is cheating people and he is still a Christian.

But I think that... (bring it to me), what is written here? It says,
"Text of Address Given by his Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, Patron of
the Oxford Center for Islamic Studies." This speech is a proof, an evidence
that Prince Charles really embraced Islam, in his heart. But now many
Muslims are attacking him, those who are declaring their Islam only
with their tongues, not through their hearts.

In England, at Oxford University, he stood up and made a lecture about the
perfection and beauty of Islam. How are we able to say that he has not
embraced Islam and that he is not sincere? But now Muslims, Muslims mental
capacity has just reached the level of zero, and Muslims have left most of the
beautiful and lovely characteristics of Islam and only have bad characteris-
tics of shaytan. They are not looking with sincerity or expecting a good
result--therefore whatever they are expecting, that is what they are seeing
--only suspicions and bad intentions.

And Allah Almighty promised to Rasulullah (s.a.w.), as well as to Earth,
"I am going to keep on you, O Earth, 124,000 awliyas, each one representing
one of my prophets."

"And there should also be one representing and inheriting from my Beloved
Servant, the Seal of Prophets, Mohammed (s.a.w.). Anbiya and Prophets inform
about the coming days of the future. Every prophet must be able to inform
about the future if he is really a prophet. If they are not able to tell
about the coming days of the world they are not prophets. A prophet must
know about future of this world, when it is going to end and how and also
exact details of what should happen. They must inform their followers of
every news about the Last Days, as well as before and after the Last Days.

One of them was named Sheik ul-Akbar. He was a grand sheik among awliyas.
He was Muhiyiddin ibn 'Arabi, Allah blesses him, a wali, as well as
the Inheritor of the Seal of Prophets (s.a.w.s). Allah Almighty took away
the veils from his heart's eyes, and he was looking at the Preserved Tablet
(Lawh il-Mahfudh), looking and seeing what is going to happen up to end of
this world, what is going to be in the Last Days and after the Last Days.

He was one of the famous ones, Sheik Muhiyiddin ibn 'Arabi. He has opened
some views of the Last Days and news about this Ummah. He was saying that
when the Last Days approach, at the time of Iman Mehdi*, (a.s), seven big
nations will come to Islam, and first of them will be England. English people
are the first ones who are going to become Muslim, then Germans are going
to be Muslims, then five more powerful Western countries. All of them are
going to be Muslim. And now is the time which Muhiyuddin ibn 'Arabi
informed us would be real and would appear. Therefore, it began with the
future king of England accepting and embracing Islam and praising Islam.

That is the first and strongest evidence of what Muhiyiddin ibn 'Arabi was
saying about the English nation becoming Muslim. And now some people are
asking, "why he is not saying it openly, directly?" And I say to them, "you
people, can't you understand anything?" They are not looking at the
conditions that he is in; his position with his country and with the Church
of England. His situation will never allow Prince Charles to declare his
Islam openly, directly. And we do not need him to say it directly. But what
he said about Islam, signifies his becoming a sincere Muslim. That is
enough.

We have a saying, "if a pot is made of clay, whatever you put in it the
same will come out of it." If you put vinegar in it, you will get
vinegar out, if you put oil in, you will get oil out. It is enough for
Prince Charles that he praised Islam. That means what was in his heart
appeared on his tongue. Allah Almighty is accepting.

It is not necessary for him to stand up in Trafalgar Square and say, "La
ilaha illa Allah Mohammadun Rasulullah,(s.a.w.), I just embraced Islam."
If he is going to say it in such a way, perhaps people will throw everything,
stones, eggs, tomatoes, onions at him. But he is clever enough and protected
enough and he is also blessed. He going to meet Sayyidina Mehdi (a.s.), and
to become one of his wazirs.

At the time of Mahdi,(a.s.) every sultan must embrace Islam, every king
must come into Islam. And perhaps before the next century, every king or
sultan who was exiled from their homelands, from their sultanates, by what-
ever means, by fanatics and tyrants, should return to their thrones. They
should once again be sultans and kings with full authority and power. Now the
parliamentiary system of foolish democracy is going to finish, and all of
them should come back to the throne, everywhere.

Now kings, sultans, they are very few. At the beginning of the century there
were about 140 kings yet in our days there are only 20 or 25 sultans or kings
left. Most of them were thrown down from their thrones and exiled.

Whichever people have the honor to have a king or sultan, they should give
thanks and praise to Allah for their kingship and sultanate. Allah
Almighty is going to give back their full rights. Therefore up to
the year 2000 every sultan and every king that lost their power and
their royal rights should have them given back. And every one of them is
going to be a wazir, a minister of Mehdi,(a.s.), and one of them that is
going to be given full power, is Hussein Charles, Prince Charles.
And that is the reason Allah Almighty is preparing Prince Charles for
that purpose. Mehdi, (a.s.) is coming with his spiritual power. Before his
coming that Prince is being prepared for Mehdi (a.s.) and Mehdi (a.s.) is
coming very soon, Insha-Allah before the end of this century. So he should
be with us, Insha-Allah, before we reach the year 2000, before the 20th
Century ends. This is understood by 'ulema of hadith of the Last Days
and many awliya have predicted this. Especially this is the understanding,
what Allah sent to the eyes of the heart of Muhyideen Ibn 'Arabi, Sheik
al-Akbar.

'Ulema and awliya are expecting him during Hajj ul-Akbar. Now Hajj ul-Akbar
is going to be before 2000. I hope before then will be Hajj ul-Akbar, the
Great Hajj, and if he is not reaching before then, we hope he will reach
soon after that year.

Wa min Allah at-tawfiq

Oh, I just love prophecies. They're such fun and so full of interesting
little twists.

Well, as a Prince, ol' Charles certainly has some motivation for accepting
Islam, now, doesn't he? What about princes exiled due to bad press? Do
they get their thrones back, too? What about Princess Di? Will he get
her back? And what about the British Empire? I certainly hope Charles
doesn't just get that little island he's got now. And what about all the
kings, sultans, and whatever who were displaced by fanatics, but who got
into power by being fanatics who displaced other kings? Do they just
rotate through kingship a few years at a time with the other fanatic
rulers they displaced? It should be fun. I can hardly wait. When's
this gonna happen? I want to get it on video.

Death to the parliamentary system of foolish democracy. Long live the King.

relating the right islamic beliefs, but contrary

This is a false.

Please read the following from the Qur'an al-Karim

Surah 72:26-27 (Al-Jinn) (Trans. Shakir)

26. The Knower of the unseen! so He does not reveal His
secrets to any,

27. Except to him whom He chooses as an apostle; for surely
He makes a guard to march before him and after him,

I have one thing to say, anybody that believes that there is any
messenger after MOHAMED (pbuh) is surely not a Muslims by definition.
Anybody whho plays with words and say things that can be understood
in this way is walking in very thin ice. (One of you might say
a word without paying attention while it causes him to fall
in hell for seventy years) (Authentic hadith.)

PS Dreams are sometimes revelations of unseen events and we are
told from authentic ahadith that a persons soul goes to the
heavens when the person is asleep and on the way back it encounters
devils who mix what knowledge has been gained by their own whisperings.

: 3) The sheikh claims that imam Malik said that whoever studies Fiqh
: without sufism is corrupt, and whoever studies Sufism without Fiqh
: is a heretic. And whoever studies both will find the truth.
: This is a mere lie, since the word tassawuf didn't exist at imam Malik's
: time, apart from this statement being contradicory to what imam Malik
: taught Muslims.

I can assure brother that this is not a lie, it is related in a book
called "The Reliance of the Traveller" by Ahmad ibn Naqib al-Misri
who was a Shafi'i jurist, the book is a manual of Shari'ah and I have read
it in many others.

: 4) The Sheikh and his group held dhikr (I never found a hadith saying
: that Muhammad saws held dhikr in a group. 'The best dhikr is the dhikr
: to yourself'.) The lights were turned off. We know that Muslims should
: not pray in the dark or with their eyes closed.

Dhikr can be done in most situations and there is nothing wrong with doing
it collectively, may I remind you that when The Prophet and sahaba went
to Jihad, they sang Jihad songs is this not a form of dhikr?
Not praying in the dark, merely refers to the salaat.

: 5) Shaikh was not able to answer my question about my countrymen in Bosn
: ia: "If you say that a sufi (muslim) should not involve in war in

: vague and meaningless. '...We are the first ones to do it, but only wit

: they will all die. He got so angry and told me 'ASK ME THESE QUESTIONS
: IN THE MOSQUE, NOT HERE.'

Some of the great Sufi's in the past lead battles against the kufar
and unjust rulers, so I find this position of his very dodgy, jihad
is considered the 6th pillar of Islam. I know there are two type
and both types are fardh. If the Shaikh is suggesting that sufi's
do not participate in the military jihad then he is wrong.

: 7) He claims that a shaikh has power to send people's repentance
: to God, and send God's blessings to people. This contradicts
: Islamic teaching (not some Christians, though)

I accept that if a pious person makes du'ah for you (provided you
are praying and making du'ah too) there is a greater chance of it
being answered, this is supported by many sahih ahadith.

Sahih al-Bukhari

-------
5.612:
-------

Narrated Abu Musa:

When the Prophet had finished from the battle of Hunain, he sent Abu
Amir at the head of an army to Autas He (i.e. Abu Amir) met Duraid bin
As Summa and Duraid was killed and Allah defeated his companions. The
Prophet sent me with Abu 'Amir. Abu Amir was shot at his knee with an
arrow which a man from Jushm had shot and fixed into his knee. I went
to him and said, "O Uncle! Who shot you?" He pointed me out (his
killer) saying, "That is my killer who shot me (with an arrow)." So I
headed towards him and overtook him, and when he saw me, he fled, and
I followed him and started saying to him, "Won't you be ashamed? Won't
you stop?" So that person stopped, and we exchanged two hits with the
swords and I killed him. Then I said to Abu 'Amir. "Allah has killed
your killer." He said, "Take out this arrow" So I removed it, and
water oozed out of the wound. He then said, "O son of my brother!
Convey my compliments to the Prophet and request him to ask Allah's
Forgiveness for me." Abu Amir made me his successor in commanding the
people (i.e. troops). He survived for a short while and then died.
(Later) I returned and entered upon the Prophet at his house, and
found him lying in a bed made of stalks of date-palm leaves knitted
with ropes, and on it there was bedding. The strings of the bed had
their traces over his back and sides. Then I told the Prophet about
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
our and Abu Amir's news and how he had said "Tell him to ask for
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Allah's Forgiveness for me." The Prophet asked for water, performed
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
ablution and then raised hands, saying, "O Allah's Forgive 'Ubaid, Abu
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Amir." At that time I saw the whiteness of the Prophet's armpits. The
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Prophet then said, "O Allah, make him (i.e. Abu Amir) on the Day of
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Resurrection, superior to many of Your human creatures." I said, "Will
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
you ask Allah's Forgiveness for me?" (On that) the Prophet said, "O
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Allah, forgive the sins of 'Abdullah bin Qais and admit him to a nice
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
entrance (i.e. paradise) on the Day of Resurrection." Abu Burda said,
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
"One of the prayers was for Abu 'Amir and the other was for Abu Musa
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
(i.e. 'Abdullah bin Qais)."

The following hadith again from Sahih al-Bukhari show a form of
wasilah (a curse infact) from other than the Prophet (pbuh)

-------
3.628:
-------

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:

The Prophet sent Mu'adh to Yemen and said, "Be afraid, from the curse
of the oppressed as there is no screen between his invocation and
Allah."

Barakat from the poor...

-------
4.145:
-------

Narrated Mus'ab bin Sad:

Once Sad (bin Abi Waqqas) thought that he was superior to those who
were below him in rank. On that the Prophet said, "You gain no victory
or livelihood except through (the blessings and invocations of) the
poor amongst you."

Karamats (Miracles) bestowed upon the righteous

-------
4.281:
-------

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Apostle sent a Sariya of ten men as spies under the leadership
of 'Asim bin Thabit al-Ansari, the grandfather of 'Asim bin Umar
Al-Khattab. They proceeded till they reached Hadaa, a place between
'Usfan, and Mecca, and their news reached a branch of the tribe of
Hudhail called Bani Lihyan. About two-hundred men, who were all

[Deleted for brevity..'Asim bin Umar's and his mens matyrdom]

said, 'Are you afraid that I will kill him? No, I will never do so.'
By Allah, I never saw a prisoner better than Khubaib. By Allah, one
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
day I saw him eating of a bunch of grapes in his hand while he was
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
chained in irons, and there was no fruit at that time in Mecca." The
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
daughter of Al-Harith used to say, "It was a boon Allah bestowed upon
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Khubaib." When they took him out of the Sanctuary (of Mecca) to kill
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
him outside its boundaries, Khubaib requested them to let him offer
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
two Rakat (prayer). They allowed him and he offered Two Rakat and then
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
said, "Hadn't I been afraid that you would think that I was afraid (of
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
being killed), I would have prolonged the prayer. O Allah, kill them
all with no exception." (He then recited the poetic verse):-- "I being
martyred as a Muslim, Do not mind how I am killed in Allah's Cause,
For my killing is for Allah's Sake, And if Allah wishes, He will bless
the amputated parts of a torn body" Then the son of Al Harith killed
him. So, it was Khubaib who set the tradition for any Muslim sentenced
to death in captivity, to offer a two-Rak'at prayer (before being
killed). Allah fulfilled the invocation of Asim bin Thabit on that
very day on which he was martyred. The Prophet informed his companions
of their news and what had happened to them. Later on when some
infidels from Quraish were informed that Asim had been killed, they
sent some people to fetch a part of his body (i.e. his head) by which
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
he would be recognized. (That was because) 'Asim had killed one of
their chiefs on the day (of the battle) of Badr. So, a swarm of wasps,
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
resembling a shady cloud, were sent to hover over Asim and protect him
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
from their messenger and thus they could not cut off anything from his
flesh.

Invocations are granted to all Muslims who are patient

-------
8.352:
-------

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Apostle said, "The invocation of anyone of you is granted (by
Allah) if he does not show impatience (by saying, "I invoked Allah but
my request has not been granted.")

If I ask a pious person to make du'ah for me (while I make du'ah
myself) then Allah will answer that du'ah of the righteous.

It has to be realised that it is Allah that grants all, not the
person making du'ah. The du'ahs of a pious person are more quickly
fulfilled because of their nearness to Allah (swt)..

-----------------
Hadith Qudsi 15:
-----------------

On the authority of Abu Harayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said
that the Prophet (PBUH) said: Allah the Almighty said:

I am as My servant thinks I am (1). I am with him when he makes mention
of Me. If he makes mention of Me to himself, I make mention of him to
Myself; and if he makes mention of Me in an assembly, I make mention
of him in an assemble better than it. And if he draws near to Me an
arm's length, I draw near to him a fathom's length. And if he comes
to Me walking, I go to him at speed.

(1) Another possible rendering of the Arabic is: "I am as My servant expects
Me to be". The meaning is that forgiveness and acceptance of repentance by the
Almighty is subject to His servant truly believing that He is forgiving and
merciful. However, not to accompany such belief with right action would be to
mock the Almighty.

It was related by al-Buhkari (also by Muslim, at-Tirmidhi and Ibn-Majah).

-----------------
Hadith Qudsi 25:
-----------------

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said
that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: Allah (mighty and sublime be He) said:

Whosoever shows enmity to someone devoted to Me, I shall be at war
with him. My servant draws not near to Me with anything more loved by
Me than the religious duties I have enjoined upon him, and My servant
continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory works so that I shall
love him. When I love him I am his hearing with which he hears, his
seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes and his foot
with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
give it to him, and were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
him it. I do not hesitate about anything as much as I hesitate about
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
[seizing] the soul of My faithful servant: he hates death and I hate
hurting him.

It was related by al-Bukhari.

The du'ahs of someone like me are not equal to du'ahs of someone like
my mother who does her obligatory religious duties as well as all
of the supererogatory (nawafil) duties.

How can someone who is invloved with worship as devoutly as my mother
be neglected (naoozoobillah) when it comes to granting du'ahs, and
Alhamdulillah Allah (swt) has not neglected her, it is mainly through
the du'ah of my parents especially my mother that I am what I am today
by the grace of Allah (swt).

: 8)The sheikh and his group MISSED MAGHREB PRAYER. Shaytan decieved
: them. I thought this couldn't happen to a Sufi since they talk so
: much about the prayer. Well, as Sayyid Qutb said in his tafseer of
: the Surah Ikhlas: "This is the path mystics tried to climb, ...
: but forgot certain obligations."

Are you sure about this? pleased be careful when making accusations.
If this is true then there is no need to say anything, it is clear.
A true sufi is NEVER neglectful of his/her obligations and fardh.

: 9) I asked the sheikh 'Why Sufism, why not Islam?' He got really
: angry because he was about to talk to a Canadian couple. I told
: him to calm down, thinking how I wouldn't expect a Sufi to get
: angry, for they can control their lower self, as they claim.

May I remind you that the Prophet (pbuh) got angry on a number
of occasions, for example...

SURANAME 'ABASA (HE FROWNED!)
Total Verses=042 Revealed at: MAKKA

YUSUFALI: (The Prophet) frowned and turned away,
PICKTHAL: He frowned and turned away

S_V_NUM 080.002

YUSUFALI: Because there came to him the blind man (interrupting).
PICKTHAL: Because the blind man came unto him.

Frowning is a sign of anger or annoyance.

from Bukahri..

1. 92:
-------

Narrated Abu Musa:

The Prophet was asked about things which he did not like, but when the
questioners insisted, the Prophet got angry. He then said to the
people, "Ask me anything you like." A man asked, "Who is my father?"
The Prophet replied, "Your father is Hudhafa." Then another man got up
and said, "Who is my father, O Allah's Apostle ?" He replied, "Your
father is Salim, Maula (the freed slave) of Shaiba." So when 'Umar saw
that (the anger) on the face of the Prophet he said, "O Allah's
Apostle! We repent to Allah (Our offending you)."

-------
3.548:
-------

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Az-Zubair:

An Ansari man quarrelled with Az-Zubair in the presence of the Prophet
about the Harra Canals which were used for irrigating the date-palms.
The Ansari man said to Az-Zubair, "Let the water pass' but Az-Zubair
refused to do so. So, the case was brought before the Prophet who said
to Az-Zubair, "O Zubair! Irrigate (your land) and then let the water
pass to your neighbor." On that the Ansari got angry and said to the
Prophet, "Is it because he (i.e. Zubair) is your aunt's son?" On that
the color of the face of Allah's Apostle changed (because of anger)
and he said, "O Zubair! Irrigate (your land) and then withhold the
water till it reaches the walls between the pits round the trees."
Zubair said, "By Allah, I think that the following verse was revealed
on this occasion": "But no, by your Lord They can have No faith Until
they make you judge In all disputes between them." (4.65)

3.784:

Narrated 'Ali:

The Prophet gave me a silken dress as a gift and I wore it. When I saw
the signs of anger on his face, I cut it into pieces and distributed
it among my wives."

Even the Prophet (pbuh) showed anger (usually justifiable except one
case) but I take your point that you were asking a valid question and
he shouldn't have shown anger.

: 10) I will not go much further and will finish with this.
: I asked at the end whether he agreed with Al-Hallajj, who claimed
: to be al-Wahid, The One, which is God's name. He also said that

Al-Hallaj did not claim to be al-Wahid, he said "ana al-Haqq"
"I am The Truth" in a state of ecstacy, for which he was duly executed.

: He was the One Whom I love, and the One Whom I love is me.
: For his blasphemous teachings he was crucified. Maybe he was brutally

: killed, but he claimed that he was one with the God. This Sufi
: concept is presented in Ibn Arabi's books, too. My opinion is that
: I would rather say that Ibn Arabi is shaykh al-akfar (the greatest
: heretic), rather than shaykh al-akbar, the greatest sheikh.

Wahadat al-Wajud is not being physically one with Allah (swt) for
that is shirk, the created cannot become The Creator and vice-versa.
Wahadat al-Wajud refers to a state one reaches where nothing else
matters but Allah and Allah is all you see. This has been widely
misunderstood and used to bash "Sufis" with. Rememeber the definition
of Ihsan as defined by the Prophet (pbuh) when he was asked by Jibrail (RA)
"...pray as though you see Allah, if you cannot see Allah know that He
sees you."

As regards Ibn Arabi, I would advise you to hold your tongue
when saying anything against Ibn Arabi, you do not understand
his writings or his thoughts, all you are going on are third
party sources of information. Ibn Arabi himself stated that
it is haraam for anyone without wisdom and understanding
to read his works. There is also evidence that some parts
of "Fasus al-Hikam" have been fabricated by non-Muslims as
a Muslim scholar of Ibn Arabi's works noted, that some parts
are not written in the same style and spirit as the others this
also leads certain people to falsely accuse Ibn Arabi of heresy.

Ibn Arabi was a mujtahid imam so he knew the boundaries imposed
by Shari'ah and adhered very strongly to Qur'an and Sunnah,
some people accuse him of being a perenialist (ie respecting
the validity of all religions), this was in fact not the case,
as in many of his writings he wrote clearly that those who
rejected Islam, (including Jews and Christians) will remain
in Hell forever.

I am not familiar with any of Ibn Arabi's writings as such but I
have access to people who have studied and undertand some of his
works.

: Anyway, the sheikh I talked to said that he agreed with Al-Hallajj
: and that he could say the same. Then he got so angry that he refused
: to talked to me. All this helped me notice his hypocrisy after seeing
: his real picture which was not shown during his lecture. This was
: enough for me, too. I didn't need to ask anything else.

The Naqshbani tariqa is one of the most orthodox tariqas,
but what you have told us implies the contrary. I know some
people who are Naqshbandi and I will ask them about Shaikh's
Nazim and Haqqani, anything I find out I will pass on.

Allahu alim - Allah is the knower of all things.

Masuood . I just translated an Ayah. Why do not you check
before you accuse. The above refers to the general law; however,
Allah might reveal some of the Gaib for some of his servants
for some reasons. Now these servants are called Prophets, angels
but not what is guy trying to make us beleive. Please find my above
quated Ayah because I do not Mushaf on line.
