According to a news Mr. Gurjant Singh Rajasthani, committed suicide
when he was surrounded by Indian forces. He preferred to kill himself
than to give in to the opprobrious forces, and for committing a crime
of demanding freedom for his people, his children are arrested and
will be indicted.

Mr. Gurjant Singh Rajasthani was a leader of a sikh freedom movement
of east punjab in India, struggling for independent Khalistan.

Punjab has had only Sikh chief ministers for the past 30 years. People like
Mr. Rajasthani couldn't win in any elections.

Why don't you make his task simpler by ceding Lahore to be the capital of
Azaad Khalistan (like Azaad Kashmir)? Then maybe Mr. Rajasthani's followers
can carry on their struggle from there.

By the way Lahore is a holy city for sikhs and they are give
a special privilege to visit there and be our guests.
Indians embassy denies visa requests to Pakistnai citizens
to visit muslim holy places in India.

The post of an Indian president is largely ceremonial, except in situations
where no political party has a clear majority in parliament. But the post of
a Chief Minister has a lot of power. In Punjab, I think about 80% of the
police is Sikh. Muslims are underrepresented in Indian power structure (though
not necessarily due to discrimination alone), but I can't concede that
regarding Sikhs.

Oh, I'm a regular reader of SCP, if you don't mind ;-) If you form and spread
any superficial opinion regarding the militant activity in (Indian) Punjab,
you shouldn't mind me interjecting.

I don't think that Sikhs are being denied the right to practice their religion
in India. The trouble in Indian Punjab started from political demands like
share in river waters, claim to Chandigarh, etc. and somehow took on hues of
a Sikhs vs. Indian Govt. struggle.

I doubt it. Try for a visa yourself and then complain.
