Shia do have hafez al-Quran

A long time ago some ppl said that Shia do not have Hafiz of Quran.....Well as
shown by their lack of knowledge we do have hafiz of Quran but we are never to
read the Quran without looking at it.....We must remember that we are human and
are subject to mistakes thus we believe that it is haram to read the Quran
without looking at it....

Christian ,hindus and jews etc. donont also have Hafiz Quran because they
dont beleive it. However like you if they know arabic they can read it.
Quran is the miracle of our beloved prophet so only those persons who
follow islam and his sunnah can learn him by heart without any mistake .
Obviously in Sunnis there is countless number of Hafiz Quran but Shia
community lacks it. The reason we all know very well......

I am Sunni however I can not agree to this strange logic. Orientalists who
hate Islam and spend their lives trying to distort it memorize Quran by heart.
It's not whether you memorize it or not, it's whether you believe in it or not.
The Usuli part of ja'afaries believe in Quran so they are my muslim bbrothers.
Let's find some body else to pick on not our brothers.

Your logic seems more strange than my logic. Those who believe Quran can only
memorize it. We donot see any orientalists hating Islam on one hand and a
hafiz Quran on the other. Hating Islam is the same as hating Quran. For
your kind information there are ja'afries in sunnis also and furhtermore
Hazrat Imam Jafar was the teacher of Hazrat Imam Abu Hanifa and Hazrat Imam
Shahfi.
There is still challange of sunnis to shias to bring hafiz quran among
them.
If you are sunni then go and read the book 'Radur Rifza' written by Imam
Ahmed Raza Khan.

Next of all, The Holy Quran was sent down by Allah to be understood by man not
to memorize it...and if you believe that memorizing is the only reason you are
wrong...

Certainly the Quran was sent by allah to not only understand it but also
act upon it. I am referencing memorizing of Quran as a miracle of our
Prophet . Is it not a miracle that a six year old boy can memorize it .
Simply because Quran is close the human nature. Quran is safe in the heart
of muslims. There is no other book on the face of the earth which is
memorize by a countless number of persons.
If Shia community doesnot have even a single Hafiz Quran what does it mean
.
If they believe in Quran and they love it why they are failed to produce a
Hafiz Quran.
.The Answer is simple since shias have enmity against top most sahabas in
their heart how come Quran can enter there.

This is really a news to me. Can any other Shia brother confirm it.
Because according to my knowledge, our Prophet Muhammad (saw) was himself
a Hafiz and used to read from his memory as he couldn't read from a book (He was Ummi). Rather, Quran was formally compiled
in written form at the time of Usman (ra).
So how an act can be haram when it was done and encouraged by the Prophet.
Also during the prayer, you have to read verses from Quran from your memory.

Assalam Aleikum,
It always saddens me to read such claims and attacks against any
muslim brother, sister or group. What really bothers me about
it is it's lack of reality and basing it on rumors and unfound
stories. Brother Ibrahim accuses the whole Shia community of
failing to produce one person that has the Quran memorized by
heart?
How did you get this fact my brother? how many did you survey?
Since when memorizing the Quran is a proof of being a muslim?
Let me assure you my brother ,since you seem so concerened, that
many and plenty of Shia has the Quran by heart, plenty read it
and cite it mornings and nights, plenty follow its guidelines,
and plenty have wrote "tafseer" for the Holy Quran.
This is only an example or one of the accusations that some
people throw around for a reason or no reason.
Brothers and sisters, It's a duty on every muslim to research,
read, ask, and verify his/her statments before throwing it on
the public, espacially when it threatens a division in our
religion and when it comes to judging a group or a person.
It is never our responsiblity to say who is a real muslim and
who is not. It is never our responsiblity to say who goes to
heaven or not. Allah only knows!
There are so many mis-conceptions about many islamic groups
espacially the Shia. The main reason i see behind this is
ignorance, and mis-information. (I don't mean it in a bad way)
Every now and then i read and hear stories about Shia that
shocks even me, being a Muslim Shia. I admit there are some
differences among Muslim groups, but we can try to study these
differences and examin the facts and discuss'em and mostly
we should emphasize and stress on the common things we have.
For example, I hear that Shia have 2 Qurans, Shia pray for Ali,
Shia are kufar, Shia don't pray, Shia pray for a stone....
and so on of tails. I can't explain the whole history and
the whole concept of differences here, but i'll give a general
note urging every muslim to read and do a balanced research to
find the truth.
First, Shia believe that Allah is the one and only, has sent his
book on our prophet Mohammad (PBUH). The Quran is a complete
sacred, holy book. So for any person to believe in Allah and
the prophet and the holy Quran should be considered a muslim.
now, one of the ways to check for rumors and mis-information is
to measure it or check with the Quran first, if it passes then it
is true, if it doesn't pass, then it is false.
Muslims believe and follow the teaching of the Quran and the sunnah
of our prophet. So if i hear about some muslim that says Mohamad
was not a prophet, i'd check the Quoran and find out that Mohamad
was indeed the prophet, i conclude that what i heard was false OR
the muslim that said it was wrong and didn't know any better.
Let us work on our unity, it is what matters these days. So many
people would love to see a division that grows bigger and bigger
among muslims. Lets not let the little differences we have pull
us apart. We are all muslims my brothers and an impressive power
if united.
