The release of three Hurriyat leaders from Jodhpur Jail and the
possibility of a fourth also being set free soon is a pointer that the
government is gradually moving towards a new strategy in dealing with
the Kashmir problem. The Kashmir question will continue to haunt
generation after generation in Pakistan and India unless the two
countries come to terms with the reality. It is time the Vajpayee
government took courage in both hands to find the answer. Time is
