Unfortunately, big money's useful idiots form a working majority in
both the Republican and Democratic parties. Within the latter, "neo-
liberalism" or an irrational worship of "free markets" stands squarely
in the way of genuine reform. Opposition to the neo-liberal view of
things can't be reinforced too much; every critique is helpful but
perhaps most helpful of all are those that come from within the
financial services sector itself, from people who know what they're
talking about.
