German fan goes nuts, goes to Sweden, hangs around her house for
several days without anything to eat, talks to her mom, gets in her
head to move to Sweden, gets knife, breaks in, threaten her with knife
to talk to her mom, gets disarmed, gets arrested, gets in the papers.
That thing about hangs around without food and want to move to
Sweden reminds me of a typical LPMUD-victim:)

----Well, it's not exactly true...but this is the story I read from the
news groups we get. I sure hope this isn't illegal. Sorry if it is.
STOCKHOLM, Sweden (AP) -- A German woman broke into a house, woke
up singer Jenny Berggren of the Swedish pop group Ace of Base and
held a knife to her throat, a court was told Friday.
Berggren's parents overpowered Manuela Behrendt, 21, and held
her until police came.
Behrendt was charged with assault and trespassing, and kept in
custody for another court appearance in early May. Police said she
was from northern Germany but gave no home town.
The singer told Expressen, a Stockholm tabloid, she woke up
Wednesday night in her family home in Goteborg, on Sweden's west
coast, and found Behrendt sitting on her bed.
``I did not shout but calmly said, `You frightened me,' ''
Berggren said. ``She grabbed my hair and put the knife against my
throat.''
Behrendt forced Berggren to go into her parents' bedroom. The
parents got out of bed, pushed Behrendt into a corner of the room
and held her behind a door. Berggren called police.
``I thought she was mad and that I had to remove the knife,''
said Birgitta Wennerberg-Berggren, the singer's mother. The mother
was cut on the hand during the struggle.
Authorities suggested no motive for the attack but said Behrendt
had been to several Ace of Base concerts. Before the incident, the
Berggrens saw Behrendt outside the house and gave her an
autographed card to go away.
``Now I am going to move and hire bodyguards,'' Berggren said.
She is among four members of the pop group, whose latest single
and album, ``The Sign'' topped charts in the United States and
several other countries.
During one night in the middle of last week, a 21 year old woman from Germany broke into the house where the youngest AoB member lives with her parents.
The woman who had been seen around the house for some days, said she
was a large fan of AoB. She held her knife against the daughter's throat but
her parents managed to get control of the situation and hold her until the
police came. I think that she was detained the day after. The mother was hurt
in the hand by the knife, had to sew at hospital but is not badly hurt.
