Are swedes more fair-haired than Norwegians?

general, are more darker-haired than their Swedish counterparts. Is this so?

I've never been to Sweden, but on a trip to Norway, my very blonde
daughters were definitely in the minority. I was surprised!

the summer months, I've noticed that most of the people I see walking around
are in fact tourists, many american! I think that Danes, at lease in
Sjaelland, are a little darker, but other than that I think that the
blonde/blue rosy cheeked idyllic Scandinavian is mostly true.

My instinct is that the Dnaes are most blond in Nordic countries.

Now I'm speaking about the grown-ups. What comes to children (under 15)
my instinct differs. I think that Finns are most blond as young, but
get darker ("mouse-brown") older.

other people were very rarely brought back into mainland Scandinavia.
Instead, many slaves were brought to Iceland. Thats why 7 out of 10 mainland
scandinavians are the typical nordic type, while only half are the nordic
type in Iceland. I would explain the darker norwegians to the Sami
influence. Many of them now live as norwegians, just as they do in N.
Sweden.

were brought back to Norway by the Vikings from other parts of Europe who then
became part of the gene pool.
I am not sure why this would be more true for Norway than Sweden unless Norway
was a more maritime nation.

Nordic countries derives from genetic influences from the Viking Age, or
that the "darker complexion of Norwegians" (?) is due to Sami influence...
The population in the nordic countries have been moving around, many
immigrants came from Europe, Asia, Africa, America...and that immigration
have been going on for over 1000 years (since the Viking Age).
"Are swedes more fair-haired...?" That depends on what you put in the word
"swede". My opinion is that there have never been any defined group of
"swedes" with certain characteristics, just a bunch of people that finds the
area pleasant to live in. If they have a swedish citizenship, then they are
swedes. It's as simple as that.
My ancestors were themselves immigrants, they came to the southern shores of
nowaday Sweden about 1500 years ago. As is still common among immigrants and
refugees, they kept to their old traditions and laws for a long, long time.
Now their culture is seen as genuinely swedish...

avoided intermarriges with Swedes, you would not have a chance of being
whatever race they were when they came over here. It is common logic that
will tell you that the race of people who are in greatest numbers will
always dominate/assimilate the smaller groups of people. When all factors
are equal, the race in greatest numbers will overtake the smaller ones
eventually. According to the government, if you are less than 1/6 of
something, you dont count as being that something. All the imigrants who
have come to Sweden have lost their traces of their race because they were
"Bled out". The English did this over hundreds of years to Scottish
villiages, and now they are of the english race of people. In 300 years, if
no new races move into Scandinavia, all factors will return to normal, and
everyone will look the same and be of the same race. The Walloons have been
assimilated, as have german immigrants. It takes about 300 years to
eliminate a race of people by bleeding them out.

makes Finns very attractive people in an exotic way. Although it is a
mystery that you are like that. The Scandinavian Alleles in your DNA are
usually dominant over almost all others. Oddly enough, they tought this
sorta stuff in High School biology in America. Go figure. It was a
scandinavian neighborhood though.
