Dr. Ferdinand Ukah, 39, was killed in a motor accident when the truck he
was riding in slipped into a ditch
on tuesday 10-8-96. He was the head of organ transplant program in
University of South Alabama in Mobile. Survivors include his wife Cynthia,
and four children under the age of 7.
He went to Nigeria 3 weeks ago to perform surgery on his sick father
and was supposed to leave Nigeria for USA on Wednesday.
