Q, CASEMA internet & TV cable

One question,,,,

I am person who is from Asia, currently renting an appartent in Holland.
It's old-fashioned house in Centrum. TV cable is available.

I made contract with CASEME cable internet (one year contract).

Problem is that the landlord said he is not sure if I can use the cable
internet because many people are sharing ONE cable line (i.e., one
subscription).

But I argue that it should be possible to use inernet, via some technical
modifications (e.g., splitting the cable ...or whatever)......

Another problem is that it is not easy to find the landlord ......so i have
to wait...wait....wait.....

Could you give me some tips to solve this problem?

It is doubtful that several people sharing one cable connection is allowed
by Casema. They are only get payed once for that subscription, and sharing
the connection may also cause technical problems. Maybe your landlord knows
this, which may be the reason for his apparent uncooperativeness.

You should get your own cable connection and let Casema do the worrying
about splitting the signals and other technical stuff.
