HELP finding an apt in Amsterdam?!

I'm moving to Amsterdam soon and was wondering if anyone
out there had any ideas about how to find a
decent apartment there. Are newspapers helpful? Which
ones? Any rental agencies I can call? Anyone want to
sublease? :)
Target date is soon: end of April/May 1st.
