De Washington Post behoort met New York Times tot de meest gerenommeerde
nieuws media in de US. Welnu, lees nu deze ingezonden brief aan de

Die van the Guardian geeft geen echt uitsluitsel. Wat daar wel uit blijkt is
dat er waarschijnlijk doden zijn gevallen bij Tenet Healthcare Corp. En dat
is naar Nederlandse maatstaven kwalitatief en naar bezetting zeker geen
hoogvlieger. Maar zomaar euthanaseren zou dit in de VS wijdverbreide bedrijf
nooit kunnen maken,

waard was. Iets wat je kunt verwachten in de situatie. De triage op
comorbiditeiten heb ik nog eens naar gezocht maar je kunt erop wachten dat
dit in een of andere journal zal verschijnen.

Ik vraag me af of Tenet dat gaat overleven. Wat ik wel hoop is dat die
artsen buiten schot blijven, die hebben onder heel moeilijke omstandigheden
hun uiterste best gedaan zoveel mogelijk mensenlevens te redden, maar met
die religious right idioterie hier vrees ik het ergste

As the citizens of New Orleans are called home, bodies in a mortuary are
tested for lethal drugs
THE Mayor of New Orleans appealed to displaced citizens to return to the
city yesterday but his plea was overshadowed by news of an investigation
into allegations that medical staff killed patients who could not bmoved
from a flooded hospital.
Forty-five bodies found at the Memorial Medical Centre after the
disaster will be tested for toxic substances. Euthanasia is illegal and
doctors could be charged with manslaughter if the claims are substantiated.
