Omar the Just is innocent and a better man than any of us.
No blood on the hands of the United States government,
on the hands of its ruling elite, on the hands of the CFR
will be a darker or more fatal curse than the blood of
this great and good man.

May the plagues take us all and good riddence if the American
people allow their government to murder this innocent man.

His ten-year-old son murdered by U.S. bombs the rightful leader of
Afganistan, "Teacher Omar," now being called "Omar the Just" throughout
the middle east, is being hidden in safety by the people of Afganistan while
around the world hundreds of demonstrations have erupted demanding his
safety from the Anglo-American financed Northern druglord bands that, with
the aid of massive U.S. bombing, are now sacking the cities of Afganistan --
even as the American and British whore media refuse to report the rapes,
beatings and murders the Northern bands commit every day.

Meanwhile Omar is being hunted in the mountains and caves around the village
of Baghran in Helmand Province, 100 miles northwest of Kandahar.

Omar led the Taliban, an Islamic political party that opposed domination of
Afganistan by giant U.S. oil corporations and which sought to erradicate the
opium production that is so lucrative to the Chinese heroin dealers and the
American and British investment bankers who launder nearly a trillion
dollars in narcotics revenues each year.

When the Bush/CIA and Sharon/Mossad WTC crashbombing frame-up operation was
conducted and President George W. Bush insisted that Osama bin Laden be
handed over immediately with no discussion, Omar asked to see the evidence.
The evidence was refused. (We now know that there is no evidence. We also
know that subsequent evidence offered to the American people is fradulent,
spliced out-of-context audio clips mouthed by an actor with a nose half and
inch too short, a face too round and plump and hair too curley -- evidence
sufficient that George W. Bush is a lot closer to the planners of 9-11 than
was bin Laden himself.

The fact is that there never was reason to attack Afganistan or the Taliban.
None of the alleged hijackers were Afgans.

The American media makes no distinction between al Qa'eda, the organization
of bin Laden and the Taliban. A close parallel is that of Communists and
New Deal Democrats during the 1930's -- there was sympathy, but not
necessarily a willingness for violent revolution on the part of New Deal
Dems. Likewise there was sympathy for Qa'eda but not necessarily
agreement -- and certainly not approval of the WTC crashbombing when the
AMericans accused bin Laden of responsibility. Omar was very clear after an
interval of deliberation -- if the United States showed him evidence he
would hand bin Laden over.

The evidence was not forthcoming. ANd so Omar would not turn bin Laden over
to what he must himself have begun to expect was a frame-up. He would not
surrender an innocent man to a kangaroo court.

For this over three thousand of his non-combatant people have been murdered
by
cowardly war-criminal Americans, by Anglo-American-Israeli organized crime.

You will find below, 1) a speech by Omar the Just; and 2) a first
independent of Afgan civilian war dead.

An address by Afghanistan's
Mullah Omar
3/10/2001 7:11 pm Wed

Respected Muslims and proud people of Afghanistan!

For the third time in history, aggression is being foisted on us. You are
all aware of it. Did the British have any right to invade Afghanistan?
There was no Osama at that time. Did the Russians have any right to commit
aggression against Afghanistan? There was Osama at that time. Now this is
for the third time, aggression is being imposed on us. All of you know
that Osama is not the reason of this aggression; rather it is their
(kuffar's) enmity with Islam.

What has happened in the United States ? everyone knows - is an organized
incident, which a migrant, a man without means and resources is not
capable of. There is no possibility of it. They know those who do such
things but they do not lay their hands on them.

They are only concerned about the fact that real Muslims and real Islam
are in Afghanistan, and the voice of Deen is really raised here. They call
this an alarm bell and are heedful of this danger. So you must understand
that the only way to get out of present crisis is reliance on Allah,
patience and pertinence. Only these things are source of success.

Whether America pounds cruise missiles or carries out bombardment or
whatever it does, we cannot avoid this danger by showing cowardliness. If
America takes an action, and Allah intends to let that happen, then we
cannot avoid this danger. The Muslims should see their Islam and their
self-esteem, and should not lose heart. Whether we live or die, we should
remain adherent to Islam and self-esteem.

Death is unavoidable; when one dies, he protects his Islam and faith
(faith) and also protects his self-esteem. Is there any greater kingship
than this? Is there any greater success than this? It is a fact that death
seeks for everyone and will come today or tomorrow. Is it better to die on
unbelief and cowardliness or to die in a state of protecting the honor of
Islam? Death is inescapable. So, you should shun fears from your minds and
stay steadfast and patient, and have trust in Allah. (If we do so) I don't
think wecan be hurt.

Allah Ta'ala says "you will be successful if you are Mo'min" Allah's words
are more reliable or America's threat?

Allah Ta'ala says 'you will remain dominant if you are Mo'min (true
Muslim). It is not faith that one verbally says "I am Mo'min". Rather,
one's faith is tested by what one says and does about countering Kufr and
about countering America's threat. At that time, you come to know how much
faith and self-esteem you have.

Allah Ta'ala is testing you. Otherwise, it is easy for Allah that there
should be no missiles pounding from America, no bombardment and nothing
else. If Allah wills, it will happen. Did it not happen to our
predecessors? The British and Russians killed our millions of people? But
due to people's sacrifices, Allah put the British and Russians on flight.

If you do not make sacrifice and do not feel for your Islam and faith then
you can see the plight of other Muslim countries. They have been deprived
of their faith and self-esteem. The kuffar have snatched everything from
them. Should we become like them?

In history, two aggressive powers were dissolved and split into pieces at
the hands of Afghans. Afghanistan is the same Afghanistan. It has the same
name, same pride, same Islam and same faith. So, what had happened then?
(When British and Russians committed aggression)? This (Us attacks) will
be the same sort of episode.

If people die, let them die. They will at least die with their Islam,
faith and honor. How is it possible that we lose our faith, our pride and
die in that state! What type of thoughts are you harboring? No one should
have any anxiety. Every Muslim should be ready for jihad against such
actions and should be ready all the time that if he is needed, he will
sacrifice his life for Islam, sacrifice his life for his faith, sacrifice
his life for Kalamah of Islam. You just make this intention, then if
emerges this evil or any other problem, Allah Ta'ala will remove that.

If someone is leading his life with unbelief, he should look around at the
lame and handicapped. How they showed bravery! How they threw the Russian
aggressors on earth and turn Russia into pieces! Don't you see how these
Mujahideen are alive today? The US attack will meet the same fate, if
Allah wills. Therefore, you should not show any lack of courage or show
any such anxiety that brings about blame to the Taliban, Osama or anyone
else. I swear on Allah's oneness that if we had handed over Osama to them,
even then the things would have been same. Their threats will remain the
same. We will be asked, 'why did you do this?' 'Why did you do that?' 'Do
this' 'do that'. How will you feel at that time? Then, what will become of
your faith, your honor, and your Islam?

Osama can neither do this nor has he done. There is no possibility that he
forms an organized network and succeeds in doing this work.

Secondly, these were not missiles that Osama has fired. This is a work for
which people have sacrificed their life. Nobody can sacrifice his life for
Osama. Nobody endangers his life for Osama or kills people in the name of
Osama. One who lays down his life has his own objectives and motives. He
is frightened of neither America nor any other country. One who lays down
his life has no concern whether Osama likes him or not, whether Osama has
ordered him or not. What has happened in the US is the plan of a third
country.

These people (the Americans) incite the world against us and lead the
people astray. Those who are unbelievers become their partners despite
their distrust and enmity with one another.

In the present circumstances, every Muslim's faith and pride calls upon
him to remain steadfast every time. If the Muslims do not have faith and
sense of honor then they will always remain frightened, and there will be
no respect for them on earth. In that case, they will eventually die but
in a state of unbelief and cowardice. Therefore, the Muslims all over the
world should feel protective towards their faith, towards Afghanistan and
towards Muslims. In making sacrifices for Islam, everyone should come
forward for every work. Supposedly, if one does not act in this way, it
does not matter; it is up to him. But the people of Afghanistan should
rise up for the sake of their history, their pride and faith.

At the time of British and Russian aggression, there were neither I, nor
the Taliban nor Osama. So, why did they invade? The Afghan people made
sacrifices. Neither Osama nor I had asked them to make offer sacrifices.
Nobody had nudged them into doing this.

At that time, the people of Afghanistan waged Jihad and did a feat of
pride and faith. The same is the faith of time now. Every Muslim should
show persistence even though he dies or live. This is the way in which
success is sure without a shadow of doubt. A Muslim should trust in Allah
and his sayings. Allah Ta'ala says, "you will be successful if you are
Mo'min". 'Mo'min' does not mean that one can do nothing. Merely saying "we
are Mo'min" is not enough for our deliverance. However, when you make
yourself true Mo'min, you will surely meet success, as promised by Allah.
Allah never does against his promise.

I am neither unnerved, nor do I take a path against Islam along with
irreligious people. My power is in danger, my leadership and rule are in
danger and my life is also in danger, even then I offer my life for
sacrifice. As defaithed by the kuffar, if I take up a path against Islam
and make adjustments with them then everything of mine will be
established; my rule and kingdom will continue, and I will get a lot of
power, wealth and grandeur same as the other heads of states have got.

But I am ready for every success for Islam. I am ready for everything. I
offer sacrifice of my life. I have become unconcerned with everything. I
am resolved to sacrifice kingdom, seat, power and everything. I take pride
in Islam and this sacred homeland. Why a common man - who has nothing in
danger - should show cowardice. He may have to come for jihad at one time.
Even then, he is scared!!

And what is wrong with those who are abroad? Why are they feeling
confounded? What are they frightened of despite nothing of theirs is in
danger? My life, power and rule are in danger, yet I have a feeling. Why
don't you? You do not feel because your faith is weak. If you have faith
or seek for strong faith then you must offer yourself for sacrifice. When
I offer myself for sacrifice without caring for anything, why can't you
do? I am astonished at you?

If you have faith and your conscience is alive, you should rise up. And if
you do not have faith and conscience then I don't care for you. In that
case, what, why and how should I accept your advice? If you have a strong
faith, you cannot tolerate anything that is harmful to Eman and Islam or
to country boundaries. If you tolerate everything then it means your faith
is weak. You should correct yourself and strengthen your faith. You should
check your deeds. May Allah Ta'ala give you success. Success only lies in
death with faith. This is great success. If one has got nothing then this
alone is a great success. In this lies the eminence of Islam's flag.

Muslim's real success is that dignity of Islam, Kalimah of Islam and
Islam's flag remain elevated. If we are pleased with what the kuffar like,
it means we have demolished the name of Islam and wrecked the dignity of
Islam. Remember! Acceptance of kuffar's demands makes the flag of Islam
bend.

In the days to come, if there is a need for jihad, it is necessary for
every Muslim to be ready for sacrificing his life. Every Muslim should
know that my call for jihad is not for my rule. Protection of my rule does
not lie in this. Rather, its protection lies in that I follow the path of
kuffar same as the other countries are following their path. If I do so,
they (the kuffar) will fully support me; even they will give their army,
monetary aid and everything. So, the protection of rule lies in obeying
the kuffar and not in that I come out bareheaded for sacrifice.

Be convinced that I am not stimulating you for the sake of my rule.
Allah's Quran is before you; open it and ask Ulama what it is calling
commanding you. I am advising you what Allah has advised us. Every Muslim
should awake and give up apathy; should have no anxiety and should not be
misguided by radio news. Then he will be persistent in Eman and Islam.

May Allah Ta'ala enable the Muslims to be adherent to Eman and Islam.

Mullah Omar

The Innocent Dead in a Coward's War
Estimates Suggest US Bombs Have Killed at Least 3,767 Civilians

by Seumas Milne

The price in blood that has already been paid for America's war against
terror is only now starting to become clear. Not by Britain or the US, nor
even so far by the al-Qaida and Taliban leaders held responsible for the
September 11 attacks on New York and Washington. It has instead been paid by
ordinary Afghans, who had nothing whatever to do with the atrocities, didn't
elect the Taliban theocrats who ruled over them and had no say in the
decision to give house room to Bin Laden and his friends.
The Pentagon has been characteristically coy about how many people it
believes have died under the missiles it has showered on Afghanistan.
Acutely sensitive to the impact on international support for the war,
spokespeople have usually batted away reports of civilian casualties with a
casual "these cannot be independently confirmed", or sometimes simply denied
the deaths occurred at all. The US media have been particularly helpful.
Seven weeks into the bombing campaign, the Los Angeles Times only felt able
to hazard the guess that "at least dozens of civilians" had been killed.

Now, for the first time, a systematic independent study has been carried out
into civilian casualties in Afghanistan by Marc Herold, a US economics
professor at the University of New Hampshire. Based on corroborated reports
from aid agencies, the UN, eyewitnesses, TV stations, newspapers and news
agencies around the world, Herold estimates that at least 3,767 civilians
were killed by US bombs between October 7 and December 10. That is an
average of 62 innocent deaths a day - and an even higher figure than the
3,234 now thought to have been killed in New York and Washington on
September 11.
Of course, Herold's total is only an estimate. But what is impressive about
his work is not only the meticulous cross-checking, but the conservative
assumptions he applies to each reported incident. The figure does not
include those who died later of bomb injuries; nor those killed in the past
10 days; nor those who have died from cold and hunger because of the
interruption of aid supplies or because they were forced to become refugees
by the bombardment. It does not include military deaths (estimated by some
analysts, partly on the basis of previous experience of the effects of
carpet-bombing, to be upwards of 10,000), or those prisoners who were
slaughtered in Mazar-i-Sharif, Qala-i-Janghi, Kandahar airport and
elsewhere.
Champions of the war insist that such casualties are an unfortunate, but
necessary, byproduct of a just campaign to root out global terror networks.
They are a world apart, they argue, from the civilian victims of the attacks
on the World Trade Center because, in the case of the Afghan civilians, the
US did not intend to kill them.
In fact, the moral distinction is far fuzzier, to put it at its most
generous. As Herold argues, the high Afghan civilian death rate flows
directly from US (and British) tactics and targeting. The decision to rely
heavily on high-altitude air power, target urban infrastructure and
repeatedly attack heavily populated towns and villages has reflected a
deliberate trade-off of the lives of American pilots and soldiers, not with
those of their declared Taliban enemies, but with Afghan civilians.
Thousands of innocents have died over the past two months, not mainly as an
accidental byproduct of the decision to overthrow the Taliban regime, but
because of the low value put on Afghan civilian lives by US military
planners.
Raids on targets such as the Kajakai dam power station, Kabul's telephone
exchange, the al-Jazeera TV station office, lorries and buses filled with
refugees and civilian fuel trucks were not mistakes. Nor were the deaths
that they caused. The same goes for the use of anti-personnel cluster bombs
in urban areas. But western public opinion has become increasingly
desensitized to what has been done in its name. After US AC-130 gunships
strafed the farming village of Chowkar-Karez in October, killing at least 93
civilians, a Pentagon official felt able to remark: "the people there are
dead because we wanted them dead", while US defense secretary Donald
Rumsfeld commented: "I cannot deal with that particular village."
Yesterday, Rumsfeld inadvertently conceded what little impact the Afghan
campaign (yet to achieve its primary aim of bringing Bin Laden and the
al-Qaida leadership to justice) has had on the terrorist threat, by
speculating about ever more cataclysmic attacks, including on London. There
will be no official two-minute silence for the Afghan dead, no newspaper
obituaries or memorial services attended by the prime minister, as there
were for the victims of the twin towers. But what has been cruelly
demonstrated is that the US and its camp followers are prepared to sacrifice
thousands of innocents in a coward's war.

Ron Paul for President in 2004
(both a call for reform and a protest in
one well-placed constructive best shot)
http://www.petitiononline.com/Paul2004/

Ron Paul Quote:

It's important to note that in the same article, the author quoted Michael
Klare, an expert on Caspian Sea oil reserves, from an interview on Radio
Free Europe: "We (the U.S.) view oil as a security consideration and we
have to protect it by any means necessary, regardless of other
considerations, other values." This, of course, was a clearly stated
position of our administration in 1990 as our country was being prepared to
fight the Persian Gulf War. Saddam Hussein and his weapons of mass
destruction only became the issue later on.

For various reasons, the enemy with whom we're now at war remains vague and
illusive. Those who commit violent terrorist acts should be targeted with
a rifle or hemlock- not with vague declarations, with some claiming we must
root out terrorism in as many as 60 countries. If we're not precise in
identifying our enemy, it's sure going to be hard to keep our eye on the
target. Without this identification, the war will spread and be needlessly
prolonged.

Why is this definition so crucial? Because without it, the special
interests and the ill-advised will clamor for all kinds of expansive
militarism. Planning to expand and fight a never-ending war in 60
countries against worldwide terrorist conflicts with the notion that, at
most, only a few hundred ever knew of the plans to attack the World Trade
Center and the Pentagon. The pervasive and indefinable enemy- terrorism-
cannot be conquered with weapons and UN nation building- only a more
sensible pro-American foreign policy will accomplish this. This must occur
if we are to avoid a cataclysmic expansion of the current hostilities.
