I don't claim that NA ar on the low stage of moral development, they just
didn't reach the alphabetic development in the present USA before the Six
Civilized tribes of Sequoyah. Mexico and Peru not included.
I know about a real Polish patriot Sat-Okh who was a half Native American. I
read his books when I was a young boy. Don't think me wrong.
Native American's pictograpy/ideagraphy is one of the oldest written
language on earth:

The hobos have their picture alphabet too. Each and every pictography can be
useful to write a matter-of-the-day letter. But neither of them is such a
good writing system to be useful enough in writing and printing the whole
libraries like the Tibetan alphabetic system.
Even Hanzi system evolved from a pictography to a logographic writing.

That's *Five* Civilized Tribes, and Sequoyah 's system is a syllabary: the
characters represent syllables not and alphabet.
