TO ALL CITIZENS OF ASEAN
El Chino Boatmen’s Conscience had cross-posted earlier on Alt War
Vietnam to feel the pains or bitterness of about 6 millions GI who had
served in Nam during the period 1954-1975. The goal of El Chino is to
help to understand the problems that separated the Vietnam Vets and by
extension the American People from the Vietnamese People in Vietnam.
To a small extent, El Chino believed that his crossposting had
been helpful. El’s participation had generated interesting
discussions/replies from Mr Al Zeller and Red Jacket with whom El
almost disagreed completely and from others like Dai Uy, Mr Reese, Dr
Quinn, and many more that El forgot the name with whom El agreed at
least partially(for example on the difficult subjects of Vietkong
torture of US prisoners and of GI massacring of innocent victims.)
On the other hand the cooperation and understanding between Vietnam,
the USA had progressed leaps and bounds owing to the effort of the
Government of the USA and the Government of the SRVN to resolve the
problems of MIA and of War Victims of Agent Orange. The veterans of
the Nam War had played a decisive role in promoting the understanding
between my country of Birth (Vietnam) and my country of Choice (USA).
I am now cross-posting on the soc.culture. of 5 Asean Countries
Cambodia, Laos because they share borders with Vietnam and Thailand,
Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines because they are important
countries in Asean and because they have ambivalent attitude regarding
both Vietnam and China. My immediate objectives are to find out why
Asean citizens distrusted Vietnam and China . My ultimate objective
is to convince Asean Citizens to trust Vietnam more and to trust China
less using not lies and propaganda but Truth and Logics because Only
the Truth will set Aseans Free.

we don ' t care about American Vietnam Vets .
we care about Vietnamese Vets in Vietnam and in China .
as far as the Chinese are concerned ,
we Chinese Just want the Spratleys , Malaysia ,and the
Philippines ,
plus Indonesia,
because these are where most of the Chinese are still
stealing lands.
as for Cambodia , Thailand, Laos , and Myanmar,
we know Chinese are in control in Laos , Myanmar,
Cambodia,and Thailand,.
that is why we Chinese must deal with the Viets
in order to demand the Viets to share the Spratleys with the
Chinese ,
just like we Chinese demand the Malays to
share Malaysia with the Chinese people.
