It not utter rubbish and has a ring of truth. Singaporeans do you remember
Harry talking about "merger" with Malaysia right before the last GE
elections
and the snide remark about the latter needing more 'meritocracy' - talk
about the snow on your neighbours doorstep, btw? What was the outcome
of that particular drama if not to steer attention away from the elections
and
rally Singaporeans together for another backlash from Malaysia?

Food for thought.

Typical slave mentality. You owe your loyalty to _Singapore_, not to
the PAP government.

Singapore, the land of slaves.

Andrei, if singapore had really wanted to create a diversion,
it would have gotten the US, filipines, Russia, Jews, Indians
and all others involved, like some silly idiots up north.

after all, why would singapore want to pick a BIG CLOSE
neighbour for a fight, when i can find many others faraway ???

use your head.

Don't you think that the flap went out of hand in the 2 sides?
When times are tough, irrelevant arguments always get blown
out of proportion.

Any Ah Tiong and Tan Sri could have solved the problem in
a civil manner in a few hours but you have an irrational leader
on one side and absent leaders the other...
Lee always had a tooth against Malays while Mahathir have
one against any Caucasian.

I still believe that at term, the rail link would be terminated and
dismantled.

Have you fallen victim to Andrew Yong's self righteous
outburst too? When have such hypocrites managed to
exceed our expectations?

And pray tell "HellBent", if that's the name your parents gave you,
what that "agenda" might be, if it's suddenly so lucid?

Brilliant.
What about 'you owe your allegiance to Malaysia and not UMNO', that you
should fight for a society where the allocation of the nation's wealth
should be by the wealth of the nationality, the need of its citizens,
rather than if you are a bumi-Malay or a Chinese.... now is that a more
worthy cause to fight for then to defend the failure of a government to
honour its promises, who threatens to renege on its agreements?

Then again, I might be setting too high an expectation for you......
