What actually they have there at Pedra Branca beside just an Old Lighthouse,
I wonder?
From the pictures taken, I can see there are more than just an Old
Lighthouse there but a RADAR tower as well...!!!
Don't tell me there has been a spying activities or some sort of "looking at
your neighbours' backyard" kind of things?

No wonder our neighbour is becoming jittery these days...!!!!

Are we (Singapore) will act the same if our neighbors do that sort of things
to us?

Has anyone think about it what Singapore is actually up to at Pedra Branca?
Can anyone one comment?

Don't just the stupid AMERICANS is going for a WAR with IRAQ and here we
also wanna flex our military
muscles with our neighbours. Silly isn't? Why can't "these people" who
earning thousand of SingDollars every month
think and act rationally? They just simply behaving like small kids.
Fighting over nothing!

I call it SO STUPID & an act of LUNACY....to go to WAR over an islet that
can consider as piece of SHIT floating at open sea!!

If all these act of STUPIDITY & LUNACY just to divert the fellow citizen
attention from the current issues like UNEMPLOYMENTS RATE ARE UP and
ECONOMIC DOWNTURN and ALL THOSE "HONEST MISTAKES"...
pls you are wrong...!! We are not STUPID nor DUMB!

Rather than dispute over petty issue, why not try to find the solutions to
all MAJOR issues that has affected everyone......UNEMPLOYMENT and ESCLATING
COST of LIVING and HIGH SALARY SCALES for the MINISTERS. Address these
issues and let the people know what the GOV can and cannot do. Here we are
struggling to live day by day. There you are disputing with neighbours about
an Islet and the worst part, The #1 guy busy tee-off at golf course with
celebs.

irregardless who started the "fire" first.

the bottomline is...for sure Singapore have "hidden agendas" apart
"managing" the lighthouse at Pedra Branca.
do you think our GOV wanna spend thousand of dollars in so called
maintaining a lighthouse that few kilometers away
from our own shore? in comparison the disputed islet, Pedra Branca, is much
closer to M'sian shore, exactly at the tip
of Johore State. Geographically, it belongs to M'sian. Let put this way,
what Singapore GOV will do if M'sia put up a claim
that Sentosa Island or Kusu Island is under their sovereignty?

that
the unsound minded Ministers unwilling to compromise?

if the neighbour wanna send their patrol boats to patrol that area so be it.
can't we
patrol the water together? i thought we are always been told by the GOV to
be tolerant
and work together with our neighbours to induce racial & religious harmony?
no point preaching if did not practice.

No need to rename. The Falklands are named the Malvinas (not sure of exact spelling) by the

Don't talk nonsense!

The is no need to spy on one another. One just need a passport - cross
over and take a direct look.

BTW, why Pedra Blance for spying base. The Singapore Air Force is
enough, now that it is allowed to fly over Malaysian air space!!

Aiyah. What's there to spy over one tiny corner of the South China Sea?
Situated along one of the busiest sealanes in the world, that is the last
place anybody would would want keep secrets there. Even dUMbNO members are
not that dumb. I think....

Well, Utusan Meloya and Berita Hairan have lots of theories. One particular
favourite is that Pedra Branca is the site of Singapore Technologies'
skunkworks, where our F-16s can land on and take-off from that islet's
helipad.

Whenever those Msian boats turn up there to put up a propaganda wayang for
their folks back home, they would go away the moment an RSN vessel or Marine
Police boat shows up to shoo them away. So don't worrylah, u got no real
recall anytime soon....

Ya lor. Don't understand why dUMbNO wants to escalate with increased and
nearer patrols when such unwarranted actions won't have any bearing on
eventual ICJ decision.
