New Israeli funds for West Bank settlements

The Israeli cabinet has decided to include some West Bank settlements
in a national scheme that will entitle them to millions of dollars'
worth of funds.

They are being designated as national priority zones, meaning they
will qualify for grants, tax benefits, and other forms of aid.

The move comes amid anger by Jewish settlers at a government-imposed
curb on new building in settlements.

The Labour Party leader warned some of the new money might go to
extremists.

Johnny, under the Law of Eminent Domain, a country is owned by its
people. Ownership of land and homes by individuals is merely
custodial ownership; the people can deprive such individuals of the
property by fair market value. If a property is taken by due force,
it is not a property of the one claiming it even when it is
custodial. This merely says that the fact these Jews are
dispossessing Palestinians of land and homes means that such land and
homes will have to be repossessed by the real owners when Palestine is
reconstituted. You would argue that these Jews paid money and they
built. Tough luck. They must lose it or no recognition of Israel
will take place

The islamonazis of Egypt and Yemen stole Jewish lands yet you
NEVER complain about that factoid Ali Al Dungsniffer.

Muslimes gave up all rights to complain about land grabs after
the '73' Yom Kippur War.

Allah fuckbar!

Palestinians never relinquished land and property to Israel. UN
Resolution 242 tells Israel to give back West Bank (ALL), East
Jerusalem (ALL), Gaza (ALL). USA wants to establish a viable
Palestinian state on these three properties as basis. Marx said,
"This is the sea jump here." Why don't you then abandon such language
and work for peaceful resolution of the conflict?

You obviously have problems with all Arabs. I am talking about
Palestinian rights to their land and properties and their lives and
their demands from Jews, Israelis and supporting governments for
compensation. Go ahead fight all Arqbs and Muslims but leqve
Palestine to the Palestinians. It is a deal with me.

A child's logic would show that if it is illegal to take land by force, then
it is also illegal to build on these same lands taken by force. However, in
other attempts to put an end to Israeli legal nit-picking, the United
Nations has issued a number of resolutions since construction of the
settlments declaring their illegality and emphasizing their role as
obstacles to peace. One of these UN Resolution 446 issued on March 22, 1969
described the Israeli practice of building settlements on occupied
Palestinian land as dangerous obstacle to peace in the Middle East and ruled
that the settlement have no legal basis. Another UN Ressolution 452 passed
on July 20, 1979 outlined the dangerous consquences settlement building has
on attempts to reach a peaceful solution in the region. The Resolutionn
called on the Israeli authorities to stop all settlement activities
throughout the occuopied territories, including in East Jerusalem.

Yet another Resolution 465 issued on March 1, 1980 called again on the
Israeli goverment to halt all settlement activities, to dismantle existing
settlements and to stop all plans for building new settlements in all the
occupied territories including Jerusalem.
