Sabaidee everyone,
What are the Lao words for the followings:
1. Genocide--a word derives from the destroying people who have a
particular gene or genome. To me, in oder to commit genocide must do the
DNA testing to see if a group of people have the same DNA sequences, a
criterion which is used to determine if they are actually related. Is
Laos capable of doing the DNA testing?
Furthermore, among a group of people, say, a tribe, it is more than
likely that the tribal members do not cary the same genes, simply
because a premitive behavior of the human beings is that we don't
practice incestry; we don't marry our own sisters, mother, nor first
cousins...well, perhaps sister in-law will do just fine. Therefore,
diversity in genetic distributions is a natural law.
In Lao, is genocide = Kha^ L^aang Khoad?
2. Ethnic Cleansing--the act of removing or erasing a particular ethnic
from a specific place or locality by force.
In Lao, is Ethnic cleansing = Kha^ L^aang Phaow?
