Today, the official Lao Ambassador to the United Nations, Yong
Chanthalangsy, in response to online critics regarding his internet
junkie propaganda, proclaimed a new re-education program for Hmong
returnees. He said:

"Now that they are at Home, the first thingto do is to learn how to
respect and comply with Lao Constitution and Laws and behave as good
citizen like anybody else... then theGovernment will do the utmost to
help everybody to re-integrate the mainstream of the Lao multi-ethnic
society."

Let's remind the world community just EXACTLY what that Lao
Constitution says, word by word. It says, among other things:

"The rights of the multi-ethnic people to be the masters of the
country are exercised and ensured through the functioning of the
political system with the Lao People's Revolutionary Party as its
leading nucleus."

You see, folks, it's not that difficult to hide the real intentions of
the Lao PDR, it's right there in their Constitution!

What does this mean? It means that the Hmong returnees will have "to
learn how to respect and comply with Lao Constitution and Laws", which
means fully abiding by the Hammer and Sickle political system ONLY!
Does this sound familiar to anyone? Yong keeps making the point over
and over again about the children missing years of schools, or
"education," this is what he's referring to. You see, it's simple. The
children are the future of Laos, and surely, they need Hammer and
Sickle indoctrination early in order to keep them in line...so as not
dissent and seek such dangerous ideas such as personal freedom and a
truly democratic and open society.

So, if Hmong returnees "behave as good citizen like anybody else," and
embrace the LPRP as their only religion, THEN of course, "the
Government will do the utmost to help everybody to re-integrate the
mainstream of the Lao multi-ethnic society."

If not, well, Yong doesn't say, but most of you already know the answer

Mr. Yong and samphong,

What type of re-education? Is it like the one Mr. Tou Bee Lyfong and
King Sisavat Vathana had at Viengxay cave in Houaphan province 30 plus
years ago? Why did Mr. Yong care so much about the Hmong children in
HNK who were without school? But Lao PDR have denied that they were
not from Laos few years ago. In fact, Lao PDR wants the Hmong to go
back for exterminating purpose.

Can the world see that Lao PDR has committed race genocide against
Hmong Chaofa and crime against humanity against the Hmong since he
took power from 1975? The world have to know Lao PDR's agendas on the
Hmong clear that Hmong refugees from Hoy Nam Khao and Nonkhai
detention center are Lao PDR's prey.

Can people imagine how eager Lao PDR want those returnees to return
Laos even the group of 158 people have already been accepted as
political refugees and will settle in third countries but Lao
Government still lure them in to their games?
Mr. Yong, you must make sure that all the returnees are safe and
equally treat like your Lao citizens. And the 158 people must go to
third country as you have promised to UNHCR.

Somphong,
I feel your pain but the answer rely on our Loanai brothers and
sisters because all the news media, foreign Governments would not do
us any good if our Laonai brothers don't want to participate for
change. One thing hold true is everyone has their limit and when the
time come all of us Laonoks needs to be ready for their support.

Everybody is free to move, resettle, travel inside and outside the
country but it has to be legal. The Lao Government had been clear that
Country which need to take anybody, has to come and request from the
Lao Government.

Yong, you said, "Everybody is free to move, resettle, travel inside

and outside the country but it has to be legal."

The problem here is, and has always been, the "legal" part of your
argument. And according your own Lao PDR Constitution, its clear that
everyone MUST OBEY the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, which is the
only LEGAL political voice in Laos.

Lao PDR Constitution, Chapter 1, Article 3:

"The rights of the multi-ethnic people to be the masters of the
country are exercised and ensured through the functioning of the
political system with the Lao People's Revolutionary Party as its
leading nucleus."

Therefore, in letter and in practice, the Lao PDR is an openly one-
party Communist authoritarian regime that still flies the Hammer and
Sickle flag, proudly and defiantly.

Therefore, it's clear that the only real freedom in Laos is the
freedom to obey without question one-party Communist authoritarian
regime...and anything esle will be ILLEGAL...and suject to certain "re-
education," as we will see with the new Hmong deportees.
