Turkey and the PKK have been fighting for many years, conflicted over
land for Kurdistan which nowadays known in Northern Iraq. The Kurdish
nationalists have been fighting for a homeland separate from turkey,
Iraq, Syria and Iran headed by their leader, Abdullah Ocalan.
Nationalism is prohibited in Islam since this creates conflict within
the Muslim community. By the Turkish government oppressing Kurds
within turkey, it creates more conflict because the PKK as the Kurdish
separatists group would most likely rebel and have an ideology where
they could take over eastern turkey, which is impossible due to the
statistics on the strength of the Turkish military. They have rebelled
since 1984 which they have killed 37,000 innocent people.

Now in 2008 turkey has sent over 100,000 troops to take out the PKK in
northern Iraq, there have been many arguments that turkey should take
out the PKK separatists in its own homeland.
America and Israel have been funding the PKK for many years to break
down turkey due to the oil they own, however there has also been a
rumour on how the Greek Cypriot government also funding the PKK.
From my opinion the non-Muslims are very clever and know how to play
their game to turn the Muslims against each other because they fear
the Muslims uniting. According to the hadith of the Prophet (peace be
upon him) "The relationship of the believer with another believer is
like (the bricks of) a building, each strengthens the other.'' He
(PBUH) illustrated this by interlacing the fingers of both his hands.
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

We are Muslim and we are brothers and sisters so why are we falling
into the non-Muslim game? They want us to fight and kill each other
till there’s none left of us, imagine if we could unite how much could
be accomplish we could protect each other from the distraction given
from the non Muslims and obey Allah and his messenger (peace be upon
him).
First of all to sort out the turkey and PKK situation, turkey must
give equal rights to the Kurds within turkey which at the moment they
are trying to do but still it isn’t enough because there is a few
restrictions, and also the PKK have to not persist on too much
regulations for the Kurds in turkey. If this is all accomplish I am
pretty sure we Muslims will live in peace and unity and sticking to
the sunnah of prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) nothing could go
wrong, this is a time and a test for the Muslim leaders to see if they
can stick to the deen (religion of Islam).
