I have 7 Korean speaking staff who tried other Hangul software, yet HWP
3.0 for Window was the "CHOICE" Korean software.
Aloha!
However, If you want to be able to use Korean in your favorite Windows
driven application software HWP or Papyrus is not the answer.
With Hanme 2.5 or Hanme for Windows 95 you can easily write and edit in
Korean in all Windows application software; for example, Word,
Wordperfect, Ami Pro, DBase, Approach, Harvard Graphics, Quicken, etc.,
etc.
Hanme also allows you to write e-mail messages within the e-mail
environment without pasting, cutting, zipping, etc files.
Additionally, Hanme allows you to interact on the internet just as you do
using English. You do not have to purchase or download shareware to view
Korean web sites, access current newspapers, etc.
The bottom line is, if you are looking to produce a Korean document using
a program that allows you to communicate with only those that also employ
that software......and..... you dont mind taking up hard drive space to
acquire other software programs to e-mail, interact with the internet,
etc., than stick with HWP or Papyrus.
If you are interested in spending less than $100 to purchase 1 software
program to do everything, seamlessly, email me for more information.
We are authorized dealers of Hanme software products. I would be happy
to answer any questions you might have.
HWP is definately a quality product. I have used HWP but in the line of
work I am in, and the requirements I have to exceed the limitations of a
word processor, it is not for me.
With HWP can you develop a Korean spreadsheet and convert it for use in
any other spreadsheet application program?
With HWP can you use the charting and editing power of Word or Ami Pro?
With HWP can you create a database in DBase, Approach, Etc. and send a
file to another user in any type of database format THEY require?
With HWP can you manage your finances in Quicken or any one of the
numerous other Windows finance programs?
With HWP can you create a slide show in Power Point, or other
presentation software?
With HWP can you write an e-mail message from the E-mail editor?
With HWP can you view WWW sites on the internet without loading yet
another program on your hard drive?
The list goes on and on.
I respectfully submit that HWP is a quality word processor. But
personally, I would rather stick with my personal word processor
preference. Hanme allows me to do that and a whole lot more.
I am an authorized dealer of Hanme so ifyou have any questions about
Hanme products feel free to e-mail me. I would be happy to answer any of
your questions.
