According to the Financial Supervisory Service Monday, the number of online
banking subscribers last year stood at around eight-point-eight million, up
12-point-six percent from the previous year. The amount of money transacted
via online banking jumped nearly 19 percent during the same period to exceed
nearly seven-point-four trillion U.S. dollars.
The FSS said online transactions related to banks, stocks and credit cards
increased last year, while transactions related to insurance dropped.
