I have always liked the products put out by West Bend until now. The can opener is difficult to have it accept the can. Once it starts to operate it shreds the paper surrounding the can and quite often the paper ends up in the can. I have never had this much difficulty with a can opener.
I have purchased many brands and styles of can openers over the years. I have finally found one that works great. It opens all size cans and is sleek and stylish. I would recommend it if you want a really great opener.
Sometimes difficult to line up the can, but mostly fine. Just wish it didn't always make a mess by cutting the label up.
I mainly bought this can opener because it looks cool and I could take the cutter piece off to wash. Howerver don't put it in the dishwasher because the little springloaded magnet piece that holds the can in place won't stay in the upright position so hand wash only!
Bought this for my mother's modern-day mosaic kitchen. It fits perfectly in tight spaces. Works great.
