Police: Sex Offender on the Loose In Oregon
SALEM, Ore. -- Authorities are looking for a 62-year-old sex offender who
was released from prison in June but cut the monitoring device from his
ankle and dropped out of sight. He is Ronald William Collins and the Marion
County sheriff's department says he has a history of sexually abusing boys
he knows. The Oregon parole board has designated Collins a sexually violent
sex offender. Collins is a white male, 6'02", 168 pounds, brown hair and
blue eyes. If you know where Collins is or see him, please do not attempt to
make contact with him and immediately call (503)588-5032.
