However, what bothers me most of all that another 15 or 20 million

also been burnt in the same ovens that Germans used to burn Jewish
people. Sachsenhausen was used for killing and torturing many thousands
of people from the Balkans whom Nazis saw as enemies. Birkenau was used
for killing Poles...

During WWII, Haj Amin al-Husseini, the Moslem Mufti of Jerusalem (uncle
of today's Palestinian

Bosnia, and convinced some important Muslim leaders that a Muslim S.S.
division would be in the
interest of Islam. In spite of these and other propaganda efforts, only
half of the expected 20,000 to
25,000 Muslims volunteered. The S.S. unit was nonetheless formed, named
the "Handzar" (scimitar)
division, and was brutal in the "cleansing" of Serbian regions in
eastern Bosnia. But it never achieved
the reputation of a good fighting unit, and failed to sell the idea of a
Muslim Bosnia under a Nazi
protectorate.

THere are the families of the persecuted, eye witness accounts, etc. etc.,
just the same as for the Jewish persecution. If you believe one you must
believe the other, that is, if you are an honest person...

shoot down other victims of Holocaust and not let them have their story told.
Elie Wiesel made a living from telling his holocaust stories... and then,
when a delegation of gypsies, who have been probably more persecuted than
the Jews (though they don't like to talk so much about it as the Jews do),
asked to be represented at the Holocaust Memorial, Wiesel denied them that
most basic right.

Actually, sometimes telling a horror story over and over and over sometimes
has the opposite effect... It makes it more likely for some people to do it...
That's why the Gypsies of Eastern Europe preferred to not tell the story
of their suffering during Holocaust...

Unadulterated horsepucky. None of the Jews that I have met, and that
means quite a few, have _ever_ "shot down," denied, or denegrated
other victims. In fact, the contrary has usually been the case.
The story of non-Jewish victims _is_ being told, and always has been.
See, for instance, material on Nizkor dealing with 6 million
non-Jewish victims, or recent documentaries dealing with the Roma,
Sinti, Jehovah's Witnesses, homosexuals and political prisoners, not
to mention several million Soviet POWs.

Since Roma and Sinti _are_ represented at the USHMM, along with many
others, I'd suggest that if Mr. Wiesel did this (and I do not believe
that he did), he certainly didn't speak for the museum. When the
museum was dedicated, in fact, Wiesel mentioned the Bosnian conflict
and pointed out that we needed to apply the lessons of the Holocaust
to our present time.

And you know this how... did you poll them all? Perhaps you can
explain the websites dedicated to the history of Roma/Sinti
persecution during the Nazi era?
