According to workers in the tourist industry who joined the
discussion, Israeli tourists can be noisy, arrogant and obnoxious. An
amusement park employee had this to say:
I work at Disneyland and come in contact with tourists from all over
the world on a daily basis. My co-workers and I all agree that
Israelis are the most consistently rude tourists we have the
misfortune to deal with.
Another commenter said they'd heard guides in Thailand who show around
groups of Israeli tourists are paid double "because it's such hard
work!"
They just dont care: Israeli Backpackers in India
What hasnt already been said about the behavior of Israeli
backpackers in India? Theyre rude, theyre condescending, and they
dont care. This raises some questions, such as 'Are all Israelis like
that?' and more importantly, 'Do they act that way in Israel, too?'

"The behavior of young Israelis," notes Israeli Jay Gonen, " .... is
characterized by a high degree of chutzpah or gall; it is direct,
blatant, unruly, clever, humorous, and indicates a certain lack of
sensitivity to social requirements ... [It has a] disregard for rules,
regulations, social norms, and good manners." [GONEN, p. 111] Melford
Spiro, in his study of the kibbutzim, discusses "insolence" as an
"outstanding characteristic of the sabras" (native-born Israelis).
[SPIRO, p. 427]
In 2001, a Jewish ethnic newspaper, the Forward, noted that the
national Israeli propensity to be cheats and hustlers (always evasive
of the law) probably had roots in Jewish history in other lands:
"[There is] universal awareness that something is definitely rotten in
the state of Isael. This is, after all, a country in which bending the
rules is said to be a national pasttime, cutting corners a way of life
and cheating the authorities the proof of merit .. " [SHALEV, C.,

Not news really, but common knowledge. You should try selling a used
car
to an Israeli father and son--I once did. The father was a jackass
from the get-go.
The son (who was at least 30 years old) just acted like a doofus and
nearly panicked
and wrecked my car while test driving it--me raising the volume of my
voice from the
back seat didn't help the doofus, but shit; a nightmare. As far as
the home grown
ZioNazis, even the Navajo trinket sellers laugh about the
"Israelites." I've seen
one acting up while at Yosemite. It's in the genes.
I have a friend who used to be a flight attendant for Delta. She
said she'd rather
take a beating than work the NY to Miami flights. I wonder who made
up most
of the passenger lists....
