How much does this have to do with the number of Charedim who refuse an education that would entitle them to get jobs and/or who refuse to seek employment?

Israel is a very funny economy because it's basically a group of people
brought together in the same country for non-economic reasons. So for
a while doctors were getting less than plumbers, because there were
thousands of doctors from the Soviet Union, whilst very few plumbers to
fit taps into all the new apartment buildings they needed.
You've got some of the richest, best educated groups in the whole world,
cheek by jowl with African Jews who were rescued from utter starvation,
haredim who don't work, and the Israeli arabs, some of whom are Westernised
and some of whom not. Then the burden of military spending distorts the
economy and diverts public resources from other uses.

Yes, they do. There's empirical evidence for that - the best kind,
right?
But what exactly does the material below have to do with such
policies? Oh - Bibi. I see. Well, AFAIK he did well as a Finance
Minister, but now Israel has to deal with what nearly every other
developed country has to deal with - government overspending, crony
capitalism, and socialist inefficiencies in the economy.
