When we're finished will post and let everyone know where you can purchase a
copy. We're open for suggestions on a title.

Thank you, Professor Tekhelet. We look forward to publication of this
most important work from the Creedmoore Press.
Mickey Cohen MD? Are you a kohen? If so, how did you study medicine
without dissecting cadavers? No, I don't think you are either Cohen
nor MD. But Mickey, perhaps.

How about "if you can't write a grammatical sentence you can't write a
book worth reading"?
How about "polemicists RUS"
How about "how many meaningless buzzwords can I fit in the blurb?"
How about "the non-logic of 'Dr.' Cohen?"

This reminds me of when I entered alongside the instructor (now a
shaliach in the UK) a bit late for a shiur in chassidus years ago. My
wiseguy friend said that kedusha (the rav) is always accompanied by
klipa (me). Now the tables have turned. I have returned for a short
visit, and I see that I have inadvertently dragged in a certain Mr
Losey, who I have visited several times in Queens. There I discussed
with him not Chassidus, but the creed of the Moors.
I have this evening received an emailed reply from the distinguished
Dr Cohen, albeit sent from a different email address, namely Israel
Tekhelet (israelt519 @ aol.com). He writes that is is nice to hear
from me, and calls me "my good man". He says he is a gynecologist, but
since he is a Cohen he only accepts Jewish, virgin, maiden, patients
between the ages of 18 and 23. He claims to have an office in Tel-Aviv
on HaTalmud Street. There is a synagogue near his office. The
synagogue is on the corner of Ahad Ha'am & Allenby. He's the local
director of both the Kupat Holim Le'umit and also Maccabi.
He then invites me to "stop in anytime and we'll share some coffee and
crisps". The epistle is signed "Mickey"
GEK
reluctantly required to decline the invitation for now.

WADR, and w/o getting into the OP's aliases, there are many Kohanim who are
doctors.

But writes about them on SCJM. :-)
> Treatment of Tzoraas (leprosy) requires a Kohen.
But they did not have to dissect cadavers to learn how to recognize
tzoraas.

The home and family are the center of Judaism, *not* the synagogue.
May Eliezer Mordichai b. Chaya Sheina Rochel have a refuah shlaimah
btoch sha'ar cholei Yisroel.
Disclaimer: Nothing here necessarily reflects the opinion of Hebrew University
I have several comments here: 1) Tzoraas is not leprosy (you are
forgiven, as this is a common mistranslation); 2) a kohen does not
"treat" tzoraas; there is in fact no medical treatment for tzoraas,
the only cure being for the metzora to do teshuva, and it does not
require a kohen to advise him how to do that; 3) a kohen is required
to diagnose tzoraas, but this is a very specialised field, and the
kohen is not required to attend medical college or to dissect cadavers
in order to learn this art; 4) In fact the kohen does not even have to
study the specialised field of tzoraas, unless he wishes to diagnose
it on his own; even if the kohen is entirely ignorant of the sumptoms
and the laws regarding them, he may rely on a chacham who is not a
kohen to tell him whether the mtzora is musgar, muchlat, patur, etc,
and the kohen pronounces the verdict according to the chacha's
instructions.
But why are we even discussing this? Mickey is neither kohen nor MD,
although perhaps mouse.

wishing good week, and good writing and sealing.
