To me, "Refuah Yeshua" sounds like a j4j front group.

Well I found only two hits for the two-word phrase, one on
http://www.divreichizuk.com/id49.html and one on twitter by the same
guy, but neither had to do with collecting money.
I suspect if you give to Refuah Yeshua you are a foo'ah.

"The baby's name is Shlomo. He's named after his grandfather, Scott."
Try without quotes, and an h at the end (which Google suggested to me
before I finished typing "refuah").

Both this address and afaik the one in Tim's links are in Orthodox
Jewish n'hoods, but none of these n'hoods are 100% Jewish. I don't
think there is any n'hood in nyc that is 100% Jewish or 100% anything.
Calling them on the phone might disclose what they are like.
In Baltimore, right next to Baltimore Hebrew College in its own
building, which was right next to Jewish Family Services, a Jewish
Free Loan fund and several other agencies, in their own building,
which was right next to the JCC in its own building, was the Ledderer
Foundation, a Jew for Jesus organization which ploppped itself down in
the middle of the Jewish n'hood on purpose. It's predecessor had
been on Caroline St. on the east side in the middle of the first
Jewish n'hood in Baltimore, in a building that looked like a
synagogue, complete with a cornerstone with a verse in Hebrew from
Psalms iirc, and a verse from the Xian Bible, as if they were not
contradictory.
So one can't tell a thing from the address unless one goes to the
address and talks to the people there. Even then, I can imagine them
successfully pretending to be Jews following Judaism if you are no
etter a questioner than the average news reporter.

I don't understard. What has this got to do with the one above? Just
that they are listed in alphabetical order and one one is spelled
Ref.. and the other Reg....? Last I looked, 65th St. was more Bay
Ridge and less Boro Park, that is, more Italian (I think) and less
Jewish.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are but I don't see how the link
indicates that. They also have an entry for Rays V & R Auto
Collision. Does that mean they are auto collision?
