Any chance for a better/bigger/clearer look at the painting?

Is there a label near the person getting on the horse? Often, characters
in scrolls were identified by "subtitles"...

That wouldn't matter as much.

I have no idea about its value. I would recommend you to offer it to
the TV show of TV Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan. The show is named "Nandemo
Kantei Dan", the judgement of value of antiques, fine arts,
collecter's items, etc. which hold by people at their home.
It will be judged by professionals in each field how much its actually
worth.

Agreed. But at least you can remount the painting in a new cloth frame.

I was going to look up the seals on the painting, but then I saw the ebay
directory in the URL and decided against it.
