extremely long (years); no possibility to re-write.
- Shelf life after exposure of the BR for short writing is for seconds
(is possible to prolong and stable by repeated light exposure, for exp
multiple reading); multiple write and erase is possible.
- CW/Pulsed laser: no proffered method.
- No sedimentation problem any more (use of special polymeric matrix in
2D/3D containers of BR, prevents the sedimentation and does disturbs
optically to any process).
- Film (flexible, like conventual’s camera film) material needs to be
pre-prepared; needed special process.
- Very robust, not sensitive to g’ (acceleration) and dropping.
- First writing process needs 50μSec for pre-writing.
- Very sensitive to UV exposure.
- BR in film mode can be hosted inside a plastic material. Needs to be
check, for optical properties reasons.
- Cubic containers of BR are not recommended for our immediate use
(still to be researched).
- Mass production of the BR is feasible, and cost reduction will be
implemented.
- BR is grown in extreme salty and worm conditions.
- BR can be used for many purposed, like special optical filters for
many uses (exp telecom/military).
