soc.culture.scottish versus soc.culture.irish

I just checked out soc.culture.scottish.

Now, that newsgroup is rockin' and rollin'.

There's been 24 posts over the past one hour and 15 minutes alone.

So why is soc.culture.scottish thriving and soc.culture.irish sluggish
relatively speaking?

Is soc.culture.scottish moderated?

Personally, I am thinking of reinventing myself as a Scotsman, "Paul McCarr"
and start posting there. ;-)
