That rather depends upon which God you're referring to,
doesn't it? I see you've used the Feminine Gender for

Goddess of Death and Eternal Night. A fitting deity to

precede them.

An actual Palin presidency would be a lot less exciting that anticipated.
She'd be guided by advisors with actual Ivy League qualifications, and
people who know a little bit about how things get along. She'd be a
platitude-mouthing puppet, and her natural laziness and unwillingness to
take responsibility would turn her into a cipher.
That doesn't mean that she'd govern well, but she'd be possibly less liable
to erratic actions than someone smarter.

Oh? You mean such Advisors as Geordie 'Little Boots' Bush

No, thanks.

How reassuring: well then we can definitely save the world by
employing the simple expedient of only putting Dead Stupid

GWB (Yale, Harvard Business school) was considerably smarter than Palin
(third in Miss Alaska contest, University of Idaho (journalism)).
Considerably. If you find that a bit scary, then you should. Bush jr. would
have grown up hearing his dad say "Have to take this one privately, guys,
gotta have some South American fella whacked". He at least was in touch with
government growing up. He had the chance to form opinions of his own, or at
least inherit them.

On the other hand, GWB was a legacy to Yale, while Caribou Barbie got
into university on merit.

No, I'm the strapping stallion (or was) what remembers the coal fields of
Pennsylvania and the efforts of the Molly Maguires to curb the excesses of
the coal bosses.
Hard lads, they were.
Oh puhleeze!
Bush was only admitted due to Private Affirmative Action
which allowed him to be accepted in _spite_ of his grades;
this much has already been revealed. The Bush Family
have an Open Door into such places because of the heavy
handed Donations made by their ancestors (and the fact
that his Da was an already-established Pol by the time it
was necessary to shuffle Geordie in from Andover). Bush
took the spot that someone Qualified *would* have gotten
had he not been there to knock that fellow off. And *when*
he had been admitted he received the standard 'C' Grades
given out to such academic sinecures on orders from the
Administration - enough to Pass but not enough to cause
the Instructors to resign in protest.
> He at least was in touch with government growing up.
He was much *more* "in touch" with alcohol and cocaine,
if his record and his own words are to be believed.

Opinions he had aplenty! What he was lacking in were
Facts, Morals, and the capacity for Thought!

I see you beat me to it. Thank you.
(Even though I have to wonder whether the "merit"

That's true enough, but he still had to pass his exams - all while drunk and
allegedly coked up.
It was a Given when he was admitted. You may not be
familiar with how such Familial Seats work in the States:
like an honourary degree, the recipient need barely attend
enough to avoid public catcalls if exposed later, and the
grades are fixed at Just Enough to assure Graduation at
the appropriate time. His admission itself has been shown
to have violated the Academic Standards normally required,
so he was guaranteed a diploma upon entry. Just as his
entry into Skull And Bones was foreordained: it's based on
the amount of money the Bush Family have donated over
the years, and the amount of Political Power they wield.
Disillusioning You,
The Phantom Piper

With luck, she'd quit after two years, just as she did in Alaska.

Actually into six universities and community colleges, none of which
require much, if any, "merit" for admission. And she still ended up with
a Communications degree, which is probably where they taught her to
write notes on the palm of her hand.
really?
this from todays ABC/Washington post poll
Palin's Poll Numbers Hit Historic Lows, Even Among GOPers
Evan McMorris-Santoro | February 11, 2010, 8:12AM
Sarah Palin has upped her national profile in recent weeks, but a new poll
shows that the extra attention hasn't done her any favors. In the latest ABC
News/Washington Post poll, the amount of people with a favorable view of
Palin has dropped to its lowest point ever recorded by the pollster. More
than 70% of respondents said she's not qualified to be president.
Palin's numbers don't improve much when just Republicans are asked to give
their opinion of her, the poll found.
The Post reports just 45% of conservatives consider Palin qualified to move
into the Oval Office. Last November, 66% of conservatives said she was
qualified.
Only 37 percent of Republicans have a "strongly favorable" view of Palin.
Among all Americans, her overall favorable/unfavorable split is 37/55, the
lowest it's been since ABC and the Post added her to national polls in Sept.
2008, when John McCain made Palin his running mate on the GOP ticket.
"Although Palin is a tea party favorite," the Post reports, "her potential
as a presidential hopeful takes a severe hit in the survey."
it seems her constant and trasparent lying is catching up with her.
You just keep 'Right' on believing in those [former
George W. Bush Campaigner] Scott Rasmussen

Intrade (the Pros, who stand to make or lose

Err - No: they're missing the all-important Qualification
of Money (in the form of large Family Donations to the
school in question) and/or Political Power, both of which
the Bush Family had, and employed in getting their Idiot
Son a nice, Ivy-League Diploma.
Schooling Fred,

you do realize Sarah was reading from a script that was on the podium in
front of her.
and why do you keep ignoring the pictures and video of Sarahquitter, Bush

and Obama took unscroptedquestions from republicans and he humiliated them.
oh right you didn't see that.Fox was the only cable news not to show it.
thwey showed the repub spin afterwards thogh
and Sarah's speeches are written for her, Obama writes his own.
and all the criticism of Sarah's book was from republicans who called her a
