British attempt to buy Iranian documentary showing capture of "Royal Marines"
Iranian documentary filmmaker Soheil Karimi revealed to Fars News Agency that Iranian
authorities are preventing him to show his documentary about the capture of elite
British commando units of the Royal Marines
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Marines), who were caught red-handed last year
inside Iranian territory planning to commit terrorist acts.
Mr. Karimi said that although the British are doing everything they can to harm Iran;
he is puzzled as to why Iranian authorities do not want to show the humiliating
capture of the most elite British commando units by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards.
Mr. Karimi also revealed that British embassy in Tehran has contacted him repeatedly,
in a desperate attempt to buy his documentary and prevent its screening. British
government has always portrayed the Royal Marines as invincible, and a documentary
showing their defeat and capture by a "Third World" army will have a lasting,
damaging psychological effect among the British public.
