Michael Ledeen is a member of GLADIO P2 Masonic Lodge, that was involved in
terrorists attacks in Europe in the 1970s-1980s, while blaming them on the
leftist-groups (False-flage operations).

In the late 1970s, while GLADIO was doing its dirty work, Michael Ledeen was working
as a consultant to Italian military intelligence (SISMI). As a consultant to the
National Security Council in the 1980s, Ledeen acted as a go-between for Oliver North
in the early stages of the Iran-Contra affair, working with the Israeli David Kimche,
and arms-dealer Manucher Ghorbanifar.
Michael Ledeen believes that violence in the service of JEW agenda is a necessity, as
he calls it "Total War".
Michael Ledeen has set up the Coalition for Democracy in Iran (CDI), an action group
focusing on producing regime change in Iran.

Michael Ledeen fabricated the "Bulgarian Connection" theory that the KGB was behind
the assassination attempt on the pope in 1981; and, more recently, the Sydney Morning
Herald reported (August 8, 2003) that Ledeen worked with Pentagon staffers to
redevelop the channel to arms dealer Ghorbanifar in support of resistance efforts
(terrorism) in Iran.
Michael Ledeen was also the source of the forged memo that claimed that Iraq had
sought to purchase yellowcake uranium from Niger.

Five years after George W. Bush’s election, his administration still lacks a clear
policy toward Iran—this despite the fact that the Department of State labels Iran the
world’s leading sponsor of international terrorism. Of late, the discussion of Iran
has focused almost entirely on that country’s nuclear program, with some analysis of
the meaning of its recent presidential elections. Many basic political questions,
including those that any future Iranian government will face, are rarely addressed.
Of particular importance is the fact that although Iran is made up of various ethnic
and religious groups, few realize that Persians likely constitute a minority of the
Iranian population. The majority is composed of Azerbaijanis, Kurds, Baluchis,
Turkmen, and the Arabs of Khuzistan/al-ahwaz. In the event the current regime falls,
these groups will undoubtedly play an important role in their country’s future.
This AEI discussion will present representatives of these largely unknown elements of
the Iranian population, all of whom are experiencing unprecedented levels of
repression at the hands of the Islamic Republic. They will discuss their plight and
hopes for a democratic future for Iran. Please join us in an AEI panel discussion
with Dr. Ali Al-Taie , professor of sociology at Shaw University; Dr. Hussein Bor,
from the Baluchistan United Front; Dr. Morteza Esfandiari, North American
representative of the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan; and Mr. Rahim M.
Shahbazi, from the Azerbaijani Societies of North America. AEI resident scholar
Michael A. Ledeen will moderate.
