Having many wives is NOT something unique to Muslims.
In the past, Chinese in Malaysia and Singapore used to
have many wives, living in a big family...My grandpa had
many wives. Those days there were few divorces, no
kids from broken families,....
Nowadays, Chinese still marry many wivesin their life time...
the only difference is ...they have to divorce their previous
wives before they can remarry again. The Woman Charter
has broken up many marriages, caused many kids to
be without a father or a mother.
It also caused many Chinese women to become old maids...
their boy friends are already married...and good man are
not so easy to find.

then the number of women to men should 4 is to 1.
