I have great admiration for the man.

He admitted his mistake, took his punishment and intends to move on.

All this while, the wife still stood by him. She is indeed a great lady.

I have nothing but praise for those who came around to render him support.

I believe all surfers will readily join Uputih to wish Lee Lip Hong well
and all the best.

May the Force always be with you.

This is an instance where everyone agrees that the Law is an Ass.

You should have greater admiration for his wife. If I was his wife, I
would have left him long time ago, the day when he went to prison. I
have no use for a man who doesn't like the food that I cook...

His brave standing is to show to the papist that time has come to
change that one should not hide and conceal from publicity, but to
bravely step down and to face accountability discipline of their
responsibility.

I doubt he would have thrown in the towel if he was facing the death
penalty. The prosecution use of trickery to get a conviction was a
gross misuse of the law. Mr. Lee should have fought the case to its
bitter end. There is a vast difference between one who deliberately
commits a crime and one who is tricked into committing a crime. Life
is like a battlefield a good soldier doesn’t surrender when facing an
overwhelming enemy. Mr. Lee should have spared a thought about the
other 43 men also facing the same charges after being trapped by the
same slut. Unjust decisions given in lower courts should be appealed
against in higher courts. Not all justice is blind in Singapore since
judgments many cases have been overturned in higher courts there is
proof some judges can truly see.

yup,

you could be right. We will have to wait the outcome of the 15 others
awaiting trial.

But nevertheless, the Civil Service albeit the Teaching Service is
unforgiving. Irrespective of the court case outcome, Lee will never be
reinstated in his job. I can understand the need to protect girls below 18.
I just hope the pimp will be severely dealt with.

At the same time, I could not but reflect on a particular part of your
posting "There is a vast difference between one who deliberately commits a
crime and one who is tricked into committing a crime". May I add, "There is
great difference between actually committing a crime and thinking of
committing one"

It brings to my mind the detention without trial of Mas Selamat Kastari.
He may have thought of bombing or fantasizing to bomb Singapore but
physically he has not done it. Yet he is detained. Will he ever be set free?
And to make matters worst, his family and realtives had to pay the full
price.
