long. Mahabharat war also took place almost 5000 years ago.
That is the present time correspond to the time of Mahabharat war.
In other words, the present world existed even 5000 years ago!
According to their teachings, there will be a nuclear war
between Russian and American sides. Along with that, destruction
of the most parts of the world will be also destroyed by
natural calamities, and civil wars. It is at this time that
the earth changes its axis of rotation to zero degrees tilt from its
present 24 degress tilt ( approx).
After the destrcution, a small portion of humanity will be
left behind to start a new civilisation of human beings. This will
be the civilisation of pure human beings, who are called deities,
because of their purity, divine virtues.
Krishna will be the first prince of the new age empire. When
He will be coronated, He would be named as Narayan.
The Sundynasty kindoms would last for about 1250 years, and then the
moon dynasty kindoms for another 1250 years.
In the 2500 years period of these two kindoms,
there will be no practice of religion. And there will
no record scriptures.
The end of moon dynasty kingdoms will be 4500 AD ( and was 500 BC).
Afterwards, the rise of scriptures, religions start.

Those who may have some questions on these dates because
these dates do not conform with the history which the academic
establishments and the scholars know, are offered the following
possibilities.
The dates which are available in the history books/literature
are academic estimates. The authenticity of these is questionable.
So also of the carbon dating method.
Apparently, the world only knows the accurate history of
the last 1000 years. That is also doubtable.
The dates availble in the ancient history are estimates.
This has to be kept inthe mind. There is no proof for such dates.
Interesting example is the claims of Egyptian history. The first
anthropologists appeared in 19th century. Their
finds of the Egyptain civilisation were recently dated
to be 3000 years old by carbon dating technique which was found in 193?.
But, we ignore the assumptions made in the
dating technique for any possible errors in dating.
Nowhere in the hisrtory
books, they teach us that these are estimated dates.
Their accuracy isquestionable. It is the same problem
with almost all the dates of history.
These aspects of historiography have to be kept
in the mind when we are thinking of the dates in the history.

1) Who are Brahma Kumaris ?
2) Cyclic history! does it mean it (history) repeats (itself)?

surely its date would be there. If it is assumed to be
the end of the cycle you are taliking about, then did
they say how did this cycle start in the first place, and
why? and what is the number of the cycle we are in?
Does Atman pass from cycle to cycle without any change?

4) Why should this change of axis tilt happen after the present
cycle? Is our cycle (present) some thing of great importance?
If not does angle of tilt keep on cahnging with the end
of each cycle? [incase the latter argument holds, some time
earth will be oriented such that one half of it never sees
the sun?]

Their full name is Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University. Its founder is
the incorporeal God the Father, the Supreme Soul Shiva through the medium
of Brahma ( the spiritual name given to Lekhraj, a Sindhi business man ).
They teach
Raja Yoga Meditation. They do not charge for their services, and programmes.
The funds come from the voluntary contributions of their regular students.
According to their version, God is the Supreme Soul, who is a point of
energy. So also other souls. But the difference is God does not come into
rebirth. They do not believe in the omnipresence of God.

According to their teachings:
The interactions between matter, souls, and God are cyclic and have a
periodicity of 5000 years.
God, souls, and matter have been eternally existing. Even life has been
eternally existing. ( However in the cycle, limited evolution is present. But,
the life is not evolved from protozoid liquids or single cell organisms ).

They have been teaching these ideas from 1937. Apparently, Europe would
disintegrate in civil wars. Apart from that, a continental nuclear war between
the US and Russia bring an end to Europe and to America. Afterwards, America
would sink in waters. As far the rest of the world, the destruction would be
from natural calamities.
The exact length of the period between the end of destruction, and the beginning
of the next cycle in 2036 AD is not stated. That is a secret. However,
it is known that the destrcution would last for 9 years.
At the end of destruction, there will be a few survivors from the 5 and
half to 6 billions souls.
In the year 2036 AD, there will be 9 millions of human beings. That year
marks the end of Chrisitian calander and the start of the empire of the deities.
The deities according to their teaching is not 4 armed ones! There
are human beings with divine qualities and purity.

There is no creator of the matter, souls, God and life. God is only its main
actor, who has a role for 100 years towards the end of cycle.
This story is eternally going on. So, the count does not make sense.
The atman, a point of energy is never destroyed. At the end of destruction,
all the atamns are taken back to their original home, called Brahmlok, etc.
It is supposed to be beyond the regions of phenomenal space of changes.

You may read Dr. Imanuel Velikowsky's book " World's in Collisions".
This book presents a thesis similar to Brahma Kumaris. The thesis is
conceived from the ancient scriptures of various cultures. He also presents the
scinetific justifications for polar shift.
The challnges to Newton's classical celestial mechanics were raised
by Dr. Velikowsky. His arguement was electromagnetic interactions between
the planets were not taken into account in the Newton's mechanics of the palnets.
Secondly, there is an assumption that no other planets come into
the solar system.
There is a belief that a planet called Murdoch, has an
intersecting orbit with the the planets of solar system. It visits possibly once
in 2500 years. Whenever it comes, there is the influence of it on the planets.
There is also a theory that the earth has changed its orbit slightly around
500BC. It seems that, the Hindus had a year of 360 days until 2nd 0r 3rd century
AD. Afterwards, they changed to a year of 364 and onequarter days. There
is an evidence to it from the sriptures. You will find the references to it in
Dr. Velikowsky's book.
Hence, it is understood that the planetary system has been going without any
desturbances, which is according to his thesis is false. Apparently, in 1940's
when this book went for publication, there was an academic controversy.
One explanation for the presence of dead mammoths in Siberia is the last
shift of the polar axis which could have carried the land masses of Africa
in a matter of days as far as Siberia.
