Hi Friends,

Recently we visited a site where you can send mail in Telugu. The
site name is epatra.com. The typing is based on transileteration. You
type something in english it converts to Telugu and display. For example
you can say "baagunnaara?" It transileterates this into telugu. Hope
this is useful.

Thanks

I subscribed to epatra a little while ago and tried to compose a mail.
The browser open up a standard text box and another frame that says
'telugulo mee sandesam'.

Whatever I type in the text box simply disappears and I see nothing in
the Telugu box. I will probably ask the site's support people but
thought I will let SCITians know too.

Bye the way, I am on a Sun Solaris, if that matters.

cheers

I also get the same behaviour. I can not get any text displayed.
It just disappears as soon as I type. I also use Solaris.
Does anyboyd has any solutions for this?

Thanks

THere is a "Chracter Map" there which shows how each letter should be
written in English.
For eg: THe "am" sound in say "pampinchu" would be written as "a^". So use
that, it is very useful.
