For some reason I thought the language of AP was 'Telungu'? Is 'Telugu'
the language of AP or is it the people? Hope some one can clarify!

It is Telugu. In Tamil, Telugu is Telunge.

It is Telegu. Telungu may be a tamilian's interpretation of the word
telegu. Thanks to Mehmood, we all know how a south Indian can destroy
any other language while speaking it, especially Tamilians. No offence
intentended.

I don't see your logic at all. Telunge happens to be the word in Tamil
for Telugu. Whats corrupting about it? So if English is called Anglais
in French, that is corrupting English?
