Hi fellow movie buffs,
i have seen a telugu movie after about two years, i was quite excited to see
that, and i am equally excited now to write a review here. this is the first
time i am doing so. hope you guys like this.

first of all, i would like to thank T.A.C.O. (telugu association of central
ohio) to bring nice movies to our city ( ninne pelladutha, hitler, and others
in a row).

This movie is like any other love story, can be narrated in three sentences.
they love. parents say no. they fight for a happy ending. This movie also
reminds you of many other social hit movies that were released recently. The
movie starts with Qayamath se Qayamath tak kinda begining. A wrong couple
falls in love, villian doesnt approve, and he ends up in killing them. After
that, some where else, venkatesh in a college doing his M.Sc.(dont ask me
what field, our movie producers are not yet comfortable with software
engineer sort of fields yet), starts the movie with a premikudu 'take it
easy' kinda song, and shiva sort of chain fight. so far so good. After
this he was sent to kurnool, to get away from all the fights.

Obviously, right to the next door, he sees (we see) the much awaited
heroine. she is anjali javeri, another north indian, who looks like
vijayashanthi, or manisha koirala, or some sort of mix. i was convinced quiet
a few times, ramanaidu brought one of those two on and off. at first, i
missed a heart beat, thinking that venkatesh will perform a teenage love
act. i was quite relieved when he goes to the heroine and says i love you.
not much fuss here. heroine right away responds, by blowing a 100 balloons
and releasing them from the balcony. interesting, i thought.

the heroine turns out to be none other than the villian's daughter (wow,
surprizing). he says no. another interesting thing is the hero asks
the heroine to choose between father and the lover, and she cooly walks
out of the house with the lover. frankly, hero shows some character. he has
some strong dialogs to go with the role. the villian sends some goons to
chase hero. they catch the parents. a chanti movie sort of thing, when the
villian tries to insult the parents by tonsuring them, hero comes fights,
and rescues the parents.

this is not the end. venkatesh marries at the same scene, where the movie
started, in front of the goons, and the villian, he puts the thilakam on
the heroine. again, the chase continues. then dilwale dulhaniya lejayenge
sort of ending, both hero and heroine catching the moving train in the last
minute, right when the villian opens his eyes.

There was plenty of comedy, a typical ramanaidu style. no obscene jokes, some
romantic bits, especially the scenes in tirupathi. songs are good. much credit
goes to the new (?) music director ramesh. all in all, a good movie. paruchuri
as mastaru lives a teacher with a good heart role, and makes you shed tears.
comedy with chandra mohan, or babu mohan may not be too funny, but not awkward
either. ramaprabha appears, reminds us of her old movies. many new faces in
this movie, at least to me. a good movie to watch along with your family.

Dear Satya,
Thanks a lot for the review; it was quite interesting. I
don't know if I am alone in saying this but I happen to be a fan of
Chiranjeevi :). I have heard about his new movie Hitler and I am curious
to know how well it really ran. I mean, has he regained his popularity or
anything? If anyone has any info on that, I'd greatly appreciate it. Once
again, thanks for the review.I'm sure everyone enjoyed it.

Arun
