Giri had a comment on the song by Sri MS Rama Rao from the film
"Neerajanam." FYI, It was recorded but not picturised for the film.
The song is a lullaby "Ee Prasantha, Nisantha, Ekanta Samaymlo,
Nidurunchu...
BTW, MS Rama Rao is no more.
There are some examples like this. Song recorded but not picturised.
Not striking my mind right now dear netters, any ?
Capt Madhu.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
The song goes like this ...
Ee Vishala, Prashantha, Ekantha Soudhamlo...
Nidhurinchu Jahaapanaah..2..
Pandu vennello, vendi kondalle Taaj Mahal prabhala kaanthullo...
Nidhurinchu Jahaapannah..2..
Frankly, I wouldn't call this a song. Limited vocabulary forces me to call it a song.
I think the song is larger than what was used in Neerajanam.
One similar 'song' appears in Abhinandhana. It is by none other than
the genius of Acharya Aathreya. Beautiful music by Illayaraja. BTW Illayaraja
is going to record his new composition with the London Royal Orchestra this
year. Anyway, the song is...
Kaaluthunna gundelo, Reguthunna mantalo...
Neevu kaali poyinaa, prema oobi kaadhura
Mringaleni chedhulo, Theepi vundhiraa...
Kinda touchy song I should say. That's Aathreya.
Bye.

Infact it is a very old song which was released for the first time in
1940s on a gramaphone record. Its well known as "Tajamahal pata". And on the other side of the record there was one more hit song (Nalla Pilla)
"Oho Pilladana ............

Nope! This song is there in the movie. I am so positive about it 'cause
I saw this turkey just to see how this song was picturised and was damned.
This movie is a real crap(IMAO).
This beautiful song goes something like this
"Ee prashantha, vishaala, eekantha saudham loo nidhurinchee jahaapana.
Pandu vennelloo, vendii mabbulloo, Taj Mahal shoobhalloo,
dhavala kaanthula needalloo nidhurinchee jahaapanaa..".
(Not sooo sure if it is the exact song. But it is close, I think.)
I think this song was written by Sri M.S. Rama Rao long time back in 70s(60s?)
and was used in this movie.
Anyone knows the entire lyric?
