Here is a complete list of TOP-TEN heroines of our times....I mean late-80's
and early 90's. I have also considered requests/appeals/angry messages
that I received, after my first post, to include some of the *heavy-weights*
of Telugu Cinema.

[1] Late. Divya Bharati...The rage of the nation
[2] Nalini................Premasagaram-fame
[3] Gautami...............If looks can kill, she is the one
[4] Shobana...............Nenu-Mee-Vaadine fame (with my man Bhagyaraj)
[5] Sridevi...............SRIDEVI-DIE-HARD-FANS......now cheer up :-)
[6] Sarita................Good acting talent
[7] Amala.................Looks like guys like anything which is *fast*
[8] RamyaKrishna..........I got angry mail-messages for not including her
[9] Disco-Shanti..........Beleive me guys...she can *dance* (Nagamani-fame)
[10] Silk-Smitha...........Dangerously desirable. hehe those good-old days :-)

Well I thought ou were talking about heroines. Well anyway I think this is your ranking. People can surely not rank like above if it was a general election.

I think right now Ramya is the rage not only in the south but with Parampara and
Khal Nayak she has been noticed even in the north. Even though she had small
roles...

Mighty interesting. But having been to AP recently and having watched tons of movies on video, I believe this is the current state of affairs as far as heroines are concerned:

1. Vijaya Shanthi
2. Meena
3. Roza
4. Nagma
5. Ramyakrishna
6. Soundarya
7. Raveena Tandon
8. Madhoo
9. Shobana
10. Kushboo

These are not necessarily the rankings. But these girls are the major players on Telugu scene today.
