By 'atrform' do you mean just 'lalitha kaLalu' or any passed-on
'vidya'?
And is it just mothers you are thinking of as the teachers? If 'no' to
both questions, then there is Rudrama Devi in our not too-distant past,
though she is not a mythological-story-woman. From all accounts, she
ruled the kingdom, that had been passed on to her by her father, very
competently. It is said that GaNapathi Deva chakravarthi taught his
daughter everything he knew about 'raajaneethi' and battle skills and
had so much faith in her capability that he made her the "king" while
he was still alive.
