Permanent Entry Visas: Since April 2000 skilled migration
points tested applications from ALL Indian states have been lodged, processed
and decided in the Mumbai Office. All other permanent entry visa applications
are lodged, processed and decided in New Delhi.
Temporary Entry Visas: Since February 2000 Mumbai has accepted
and decided ALL temporary entry visa applications for the following states
- Maharashtra, Kerala, Goa, Gujarat, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Naidu
- with the exception of students which are done for the whole of India
by the Visa Office in New Delhi.
