Hello,

Where can I find good Information about indian women famous for what they
did for the country/society Freedom fighters etc. I am especially interested
to know about Marathi women.
I searched in Internet, but I get too many links not giving me Information
about the Women. Links like Ahilya Holkar school ... are of not much use to
me.
The Information can be in English or even Marathi (e.g. Books)

TIA
Nalini

In web searches, the results you get depend considerably on how you
frame the query. If you use google, try their advanced search.

Depending on how serious your project is, i would recommend against
using general websites for collecting information. It will be much
better to use books by good authors. Do you have access to marathi
books?

A site with some biographies is:
http://www.freeindia.org/biographies/

If you remember the poem by subhadra kumari chauhan, i found it at:
http://manaskriti.com/kaavyaalaya/jhansi.stm

When your study is done, if you put it online - let us know.

Good luck,

Sachin.

Hello,

I can get you in touch of a person who has a good collection on the
