We are happy to announce the release of the Baraha 2000a - the upgrade
to Baraha 2000 software. Baraha is a free
Kannada/Hindi/Marathi/Sanskrit publishing software. Please download it
from baraha.com. Baraha 2000a has added very useful features that were
missing from Baraha 2000. Though, these are small features, they make
the life of the Baraha user very easy & comfortable. Providing an
option to minimize the Baraha Direct window is one such feature. Please
take a look at the list given below for the new features of Baraha
2000a. The Baraha users themselves had suggested some of these features.
The main suggestion from the Baraha users was to include variety of
fonts. In this release, we are providing a new Kannada font
called "Baraha Vijay" and also the bold version of "Baraha Kan New"
font. More Kannada fonts will be added in the future.
Please discard the previous versions of Baraha programs (Baraha
2000/Baraha 2.0/Baraha 1.1) to take advantage of the improved fonts and
performance of Baraha 2000a. Please read release notes (readme.doc
file) that comes with the installation for more info.
Tell your friends/relatives to upgrade to Baraha 2000a version. Your
suggestions and inquiries are always welcome.
